so far imo bioshock is the best first person shooter,
killzone 2 got a 8.5 and bioshock got 9.5 but in some reviews it was 10..
bioshock has a really deep story line, geart voice acting and graphics.
well im just saying, KILLZONE 2 IS COMING THIS FRIDAY!! :hyper: (in usa)

Blood has always been the best FPS I have ever played. No other game to date has given me the right mix of action, scares and fun.

lol second that, Blood is probably my favorite FPS of all time, Caleb had way better lines than Duke Nukem.

I have played Killzone, that was a pretty generic consolized FPS, what makes Killzone 2 different? Just curious, as I have abandoned consoles years ago.

- Graphics, Audio, Animations, Atmosphere...

P.S. Bioshock is one of the Best videogame of this gen, but Killzone 2 have something more...

yea the graphics are better, but the audio sounds ok and the atmosphere in killzone 2 is about war and bioshock has a creepy astmosphere. the only thing im worried about killzone 2 is the storyline. cant wait for tomorow! :D

It certainly isn't the best game ever, not even the best FPS ever, but it's very enjoyable and the graphics, particularly the intro sequence, are stunning. It demonstrates the power of the PS3 well and it runs flawlessly so far, but best game ever? Nah.

I think that image has been tarted up a bit.

^the final game version looks better, i played multiplayer
and its really fun. im already a sargent rank.
but theres only a few maps and i know this might sound
werid but....i want dlc..

It's definitely a very good looking game and there's areas that look better than the CG shown back in 2005 but there's also not as much detail in the environments as there was in the CG video. Just a whole lot more Depth of Field :)

I bought Killzone 2 two days ago and I can clearly say that Killzone 2 is one of the best FPS of all time. Yet it isn't the best. If you own a PS3, definately buy this game!

What i meant was that every time hyped game is released most of people say its best game ever maybe even before its released. They are blinded by the hype. Its not possible that every big name game is best game ever, well maybe if graphics are most important thing to you in game.

Matti1's right, hype and technology blinds people's judgement. The real acid test is whether you're still playing the game in two, five, or even 10 years from now. That's the difference between a good game, and an incredible one.

I would really like to play this game. That would mean that I buy ps3.

In a finnish Tilt game review they said that the game is beautiful with good gameplay, but the game start's to repeat itself and that you can't get into the character.

I'm still missing something in any case

i agree, killzone 2 is amazing but theres still a couple of problems so
it isnt perfect. im glad im not the only person who thinks its repeative.
the game feels short and the final boss is kinda hard..:cool:

I wouldn't call it the best FPS ever. It's fun (well the multiplayer is anyway) and it has nice graphics, but it lacks a lot of substance. Oh and the dialogue is abysmal.

I like that the multiplayer is so easy to pick up and play. I rarely have much time to play games these days, so its nice when games allow for quick sessions. This should tide me over until COD6 comes out.

get with the times, there is always a game that is going to destroy the last best game you played, a game isnt the best game forever.
