Max Payne Packaging Question

I recently bought Max Payne 2 and the packaging seems a bit strange to me. It doesn’t come in a foldable box, it’s in a amaray. And all 3 cds are placed over each other on a holder.

Does anyone of you know this version? I can’t find it on mobygames.com

Could this be a illegal copy?

Amazon has deceived me this summer. I wanted to buy mp spec edition with mousepad and they've sent me common dvd-box. It cost 100$ for me.

P.S. I'm sure that your version is illegal. Could you post here photos with box?

Haha... I think people have better things to do than burn and package pirated copies of Max Payne 2. They'll end up spending more on the blank media, cases and postage, etc, than they're ever going to make in money from customers.

Never seen that packaging before (besides the console versions), but it looks legit (the registration card seems like a detail a pirate would overlook). They probably stopped the cardboard pack years ago.

Max Payne 2 is a fiver. How much money do you think it would cost a pirater to produce a package like that?
