MP 1 & 2: In what languages where they released?

Being a fan I started collecting different language versions of the game, but I can't seem to find a list of what actually got released, so I was wandering If anybody in here knows?

I'm afraid that they're the only languages you can expect. There are more than enough languages to explore(Greek, Japanese, German etc). It's a pity they DIDN'T include all the languages. It'd be fun.

MP2 has also been dubbed in Spanish and Italian, and I know that at least MP1 has been dubbed in Japanese and MP2 in German.

In my game I found it only in English. It had limited options than having EVERYTHING....

Wasn't there a German Version for MP1 planned?? I think they changed the grenades and some effects but never released it????:confused::confused::confused:

Yeah I seem to remember reading that MP1:German was planned, but in the end English was released in Germany.

MP1 was released for a short time it came on the index and now you must pay a lot to get a copy in Germany

It would be cool if there is any Video material from the "German-Version" because i think the grenades or molotovs got a cheap alternativ. Damn you USK!!!

So that version would be extremely hard to find? The Japanese one also seems difficult to get.

It would be nice if the files needed to change language could be obtained, so we could all change our game to the language of choice, for mp1 that would be the x_data.ras and x_(language).ras files, and for mp2 only one file mp2_(language).ras.

Would anyone of the former devs or companies still have those files and be willing to give them to the community? An (any lang) to french mod is already available from some guy that upped the files for french to megaupload. They are mainly used by steam users to convert their Engilsh game. It's only a matter of time before more start popping up, and I think making the lang files available will boost sales on steam a bit and be good publicity for the mp brand in general.

As maker of the soundpatch I'm also interested in the files, because I'd like to make my script able to detect and handle them.

It'd be nice a fansub group of everyone of us from all countries to translate ALL of them as far as possible with his own native language. The same happened to the horror point and click game "Scratches".
