Hello guys!
Latetly I have been dreaming a lot. And when I mean a lot I mean every night I have like 2 dreams. That has been happening since I went on vacations  Weird, huh? Most of my dreams are regular dreams, others are a bit disturbing but never fall on a nightmare.
So, Alan Wake for me has to do a lot with dreams, specially nightmares. Because Alan write his novel in his sleep, and no one knows how dreams are created  so that is a cool theory or something ...
So any good dream you guys want to share? or some theories about how dreams are made up? My theory is that dreams are what we want an what we fear most.
Heh. My theory is that dreams reveal secrets about the subconscious trying to resurface after being suppressed.
Or they're just the best way to meet a ninjas and have an epic battle royal.
Hmm... I can share a dream I guess. But here's the thing- I am never, EVER myself in my dreams. I'm always someone else. The Doctor (Doctor Who), Harry Potter, etc. etc.
Well, a week ago, I had a dream that I was Bing Crosby- watching too many Christmas movies I guess! I sang a duet and the real Bing Crosby showed up. It was awkward.
I had an Alan Wake dream once, but I've forgotten it...

Isn't it like you have a tonne of dreams, always, but you only remember them if you wake up at certain points in your REM cycle and then you only remember the last one. And yeah it's subconscious mixed with prompters depending on how you're feeling, your health, what you did the day before, what you're doing tomorrow and what the hell is going on in your life and you star signs and your favourite no. and all that crazy jazz and then if it's a full moon or not cause then the fluid on your brain and inside each and every cell of your body shifts around...
I scare myself when i read my star signs etc. despite not being into it at all, whenever someone reads mine i get freaked out cause they're always 100% spot on. And it's not just the overly generalised BS ones.

It's a pity for you, that you haven't dreaming a nightmare. I have seen my own nightmares and I was about to die sometimes.
The first was in a pitch black cavern with crimson lights filling the corpses, chained with the rocks. As I walked too slowly, since I couldn't see my own nose, I touched rocks and tried not to hit anywhere and be injured and saw with my own dreamy eyes these corpses and I was about to die from the terror. Later I found the flashlight and opened it, so I could see my way there. After that I woke up.
The Second nightmare was in the Silent Hill-like building, where I live. I wanted -- unconsciously -- to take the elevator on the way to my apartment. The elevator lowered instead of rising to my apartment's floor. The elevator did go to the creepy bottomless surface. When I got out of the elevator, I found myself in a cavernous underground passageway. I turned right to the underground passageway and found some doors open, but instead of seeing monsters, I saw some crazy clerks doing some dirty business. I ignored them and found the exit of the underground passageway. Later I found myself at the building's basement, where happened to be a power generator being turned off(Just like Silent Hill). When I approached the stairs in the thought of going to my apartment by staircase, some zombies attacked me. I was afraid and fought them bare-handed(thank god i knew Tae Kwon Do). When I defeated them, from the horror I rushed ALL the staircase and found the exit where I took the elevator before going down. After that I woke up...
The Third one was when I was one-eyed and the blinded eye was covered with flesh and found myself laying in a creepy bed with a light with crimson filter being turned on. The whole room I was in was dark, just like Silent Hill. I was afraid to die there alone, so I moved unconsciously my jaw to wake myself up. It almost gave me a heart attack...
Some crazy nightmares I have... I should write them down to my book. I might give this book of myself to some game companies, in order to create a horror game.
These nightmares, I mentioned earlier, were influenced by the series "Hellraiser" and "Silent Hill". Not to mention that, when I'm afraid of something, I'm ALWAYS about going heart attack !!!

The earliest dream I remember having is one where me and my parents were in our old house. I was around 2 or 3 at the time. It was pretty short but it involved my parents tearing skin off their arm revealing green scales...then chasing me down the street.
The funniest thing is I know EXACTLY where that came from. V the Series...they must have let me watch it at some point and the idea of lizard people pretending to be human sunk in. lol
BTW, have any of you ever experienced Sleep Paralysis? Where you are in the space between sleep and awake and you feel something is threatening you but you can't move or speak. It's happened to me quite a few times over my life....very unpleasant.

I have experienced it 2 times. It was like the Third Nightmare I mentioned earlier. I ever saw a parallel dream, that I thought that I was already awake, but instead I was still sleeping. I did my usual trick to wake up(moved my own jaw). Try moving your own Jaw, when you feel you're about to die.

I haven't dreamed in a while. Mostly becuase I haven't slept very well. I get these weird fits now and then. It happens quite randomly as far as I can see. Some connections with recalling something in a dream or a bad dreaming might be visible. My head starts pounding and I get really hot. My heart also starts pumping. I assume that these are some post symptons of those sleeping paralysis' that I had when I was younger. The feeling seems sort of same. In the mids of this heart beating and head "humming" I feel like I'm going to go paralyzed. I can control it by yanking myself up, but it takes a lot of will power. After one attack it's hard to go back to sleep because the seizure almost certainly happens again. Annoying really, I thought I would have lost this problem a long time ago. Not that I get these every day. They have been going pretty much regularly straight after the paralyzes ended wich was sometime in 2000.
Annoying really..
If I do get dreams I see usually things that happen around people I know and quite often around places I know. But all is... dream like. And things that happen in them usually makes no sense what so ever.
Once I had a lucid dream. It was a great experience and thought that practising to see these kind of dreams would be cool, but the project never really started..
I think dreams are the repairing stage of the brain were the thinking part shuts down almost completely and brains sort of go to a freeroll stage. No thinking as we see it is involved. But brains still THINK while you are a sleep. Subconsciousness registers what you are thinking, but it doen't work the same consciousness works while we are awake so that's why everything goes sort of.. fuzzy. Memories are the particles of our dreams, right? We are just gategorizing things and repairing things while we are asleep

From my point of view, most likely you seem to have encephalic symptoms. At least go to a doctor, so he can examine you for these symptoms...

Get it all the time. (say once every 2 weeks) Half awake half not. Dead arms, dead legs, can't move. Eventually subsides and i kind of roll myself out of bed and then the circulation comes back to my arms and legs... Not sure if that's quite sleep paralysis but it's often happens when I do remember my dreams.
At the moment though I just had surgery so painkillers are causing me not to have any dreams... or just sleep too well so I don't wake up at some awkward point in the REM cycle and remember my dreams.

It's hard to explain. The symptons are almost exactly the same as in sleep paralysis. But I can manage to get up before it starts. I've heard from people in other forums who've had sleep paralysis that they are experiencing same sort of attacks.
For me the sleep paralysis were horrible. I paralyzed pretty instantly when I got spooked in a dream, recalled something all of a sudden, or had a sort crossconnection through something in a dream. Bang, I was conscious while asleep. And this dark figure kept getting bigger and closer. I just couldn't move. I so wanted to wake up, but I just couldn't. Going to sleep was an endless nightmare. I began to leave lights on in hopes of not getting it.
There really was a pattern when sleep paralysis occured. It was mostly during the most deepest part of the dream and usually near the morning. The classic time would be when I get up to go to toilet and come back. Right then, around 6.00 AM, when I've been asleep about 10 minutes it would hit me.
At some point when I was younger and much more sicker they did some neurological studies just to check everything was ok. Doctors had said that all the seizures and some other weird symptoms might be caused by some early trauma stages of my disease. Not sure myself, I was quite out at the time we found that I had type II MPGN. Plus I'm under constant medication.
I've gone through so many weird health problems that no wonder if I'm constantly going mushroom mushroom.

Mind if you could tell me more about Type II MPGN ? I have heard from some trusted doctors that it's most likely a neurological problem that occurs often and they can't find the source of all this.
Even I have eye pressures, that made me see it as a glaucoma. I already lost the left eye from eye pressure, but still I have the right eye(Imagine that I'm like Jubei Yagyu). everything that relates to pressures in the body reffers to these neurological problems... I wish the Hi-Tech Medical Tools would do something for these symptoms, so no one would ever be tortured like this. Personally, I wish to change my own eyes to some healthy to get rid of the eye pressures(this won't happen, since the docs decided not to touch no matter what the eyes, since they're so sensitive).

Doctors are quite baffled how disease occurs. Usually associated with the alternative complement pathway. Umm.. Well, it's quite hard to explain the disease, because not much about how it strikes is known. It is an autoimmune disease that strikes the glomuroli of the kidney. Type two is rarer then one and the third is the rarest. Some studies have been made why vision deteriorates. This term drusen came up when I went to see a eye doctor.
So basically doctors have never given me an explanition for this. It is not clear why the mutation happens, why the immune response changes.
I'm sorry I can't help you more. You might check some university sudies and disease databases, but they probably won't give you any better answer.
I'm at a better stage now, since I've gotten a kidney transplant. The disease did renew itself, wich is a pity, but to be honest that was something expected

Found something that might be useful for this Glomerular Kidney (http://kidney.niddk.nih.gov/kudiseases/pubs/glomerular/#how). Didn't know that existed more than some usual diseases for the eye.
I'm reading it, so to be well informed.
And if you want to know what mostly happened to my left eye read here (http://www.docshop.com/education/vision/eye-diseases/glaucoma/). And if you check it (http://www.docshop.com/education/vision/eye-diseases/glaucoma/symptoms/), you'll recognize something like a vampire, the famous photophobia. I always wear sunglasses since I have been surgered in my eyes when I was a baby. I was born both deaf and blind, but thank god, I can hear and see anything, but the hell, I dislike the life I'm having.

I do take these sleep problems quite lightly actually. Some problems actually produce some of the most incredible dreams. Not that I've ever predicted the future or anything(no way..), but you might find yourself figuring out a problem.. Or, maybe getting Deja Vu a lot more frequently.
After every dream that happens within friend circles or familiy circels, but have different situations around them, makes me always wonder the weirdness of the human mind. My own mind. You can be quite baffled after one of those dreams

I've had the same dream a thousand times since I was a child: I'm in this old rusty hotel where every night a strange figure walks the floors, randomly bursts through one of the doors and kills the people inside. And in the end I'm always hiding under a blanket when he comes to kill me. I really wonder by now what he looks like. Probably some pyramid head like figure.
I have other dreams too, but they contain strong adult material that I won't get further into here.

These Visions are the common cause of Deja Vu. You dream it, forget about it, then when it happens it feels so familiar because you HAVE been in that exact situation at that exact moment before....while you were dreaming. It's happened to me a lot of times as well. I think it's the psychic abilities all humans have but are burried deep and mostly unused. So few are aware of this ability or unable to begin to control it...that it shows up as ignored dreams or Deja Vu.

True...
Some scientists couldn't find the source of the psychic powers, and proved it impossible for the humankind to figure it how. What a shame...

The term deja vu is said to be cause of a part in your brain wich doesn't have enough oxygen when the feeling comes.
Though I do agree. World of dreams is so vast that situations with same surroundings and happenings are forced to be encountered in real life

I know it's a premonition thing....when it happens I actually remember dreaming about it...just it's one part of a dream out of so many it's pointless to try to decipher any thing from it or make any sense before hand....plus with me it's never anything significant. Just moments.

I know, I know. The feeling is just so unique. It's not like the feeling when you see something you've seen before normally. It's a random moment with the same feel as every word and happening that is happening during it, would be a quote. A quote from something.. But What? "I've seen this!" Like a scene from a movie that you've watched a thousand times. Yeah, the dreams are suppose to be made out of every single memory we posess

My theory is that dreams reveal secrets about the subconscious trying to resurface after being suppressed.
This is my guess. Dreams are thoughts that surface during the night. More than anything it's subconscious. Is it trying to tell you something? Maybe it is sometimes. But regardless of that, dreams is just another way of your mind to process things that are on your mind. I've often experienced odd dreams that make absolutely no sense to me at all. I just figure if you rip each piece of the dream apart you can basically find a reason for everything. Try having a romantic dream about your best friend's mom. Haha. I've never felt as embarrassed as I did when I woke up after having that dream. I've never had it again though (thank God!). I figure it's just the mind mixing various settings together. Perhaps the romantic part of the dream has another root somewhere (to an old flame, or a girl I used to like), and his mom represented something completely different (or, it could be as simple as I saw his mother one of the days prior to the dream).
Uff, enough about that. I often find myself having rather odd dreams. There is one person that has been in more dreams than any other person (apart from myself obviously). I think I know why, but it doesn't matter. My dreams are almost always more confusing than it's worth. So most of the time I just ignore them.

This is known as the Alice in Wonderland effect. You dream about weird looking edible objects because you want to change something about yourself. Generally in the way you are perceived by others. In your subconscious the mushroom represents a safe way of testing this acting out and your peers response to said actions with the fail safe of being able to blame it on the mushroom rather than on yourself. So all the benefits without any danger. Hence, your subconscious is trying to casually get you used to this idea.

It's strange but I find I can only remember dreams when I actually sit down and consciously think about them (such as when reading this topic). Then it all comes back to me.
Yeah, I often have dreams where I'm being chased by a killer or some kind of predatory creature (often dinosaurs, funnily enough; but also Giger's alien). Actually, chased is the wrong word -- it's normally lurking in a confined space (a building, house), but unaware of my presence, the dream usually revolves around trying to escape without attracting it's attention. Either that, or we know it's coming, and we're trying to make preparations to hide/protect ourselves from it. It's more a suspense/anxiety thing.
Otherwise, I get the usual anxiety dreams. A common scenario is that I'm still at school or university, and somehow I've forgotten a small, but important assignment (an essay or something). Often it's so convincing, that I treat it like a false memory and resolve to start working on the assignment as soon as I wake up. I put this down to my last year at uni, when we had so much written work to hand in, that I couldn't begin to manage it all. Somehow I got everything done in time, but it got pretty hairy at one point (i.e. several months into my dissertation, and I hadn't written a word of it).
Very occasionally (less than once a year) I get these awe-inspiring dreams that stick with me. Usually involve some kind of environmental phenomena -- often weird constellations in the stars, or even massive planets appearing in the sky. Once it was a giant tornado which appeared on the horizon, and very quickly moved towards me (much like the one in the Wind Waker level of Smash Bros. Brawl). I'd put it down to watching too much Doctor Who, but this started a long time before they rebooted it.
In the most recent one (6-8 months ago) I was walking down a street at around 1am at night, except that I became aware that it was daylight. Well not quite daylight, because the light was dim, unnatural, and patchy -- and looking up you could see that in the sky, light from the sun was being reflected off some kind of satellite(s). Not a lot else happened, but it was quite weird experience.
Last week or the week before I had an Alan Wake related dream, but I don't remember enough of it to put it into words.

I just had a weird dream from a nice nap and thought I ought to share it here.
So, if anyone has ever seen The Mummy movies- I had a dream that the character Johnathan, Eve's brother, was actually my uncle and his name was, for some reason, Ryan. So he came over to visit me and my family for the first time in a long while, and became very interested in my PS3 and played with the Home/Settings sort of things for a long while. Then there was something about buffalo, a game where you have to get the buffalo down to the furthest pit in a series of hills as it could go. Except you were the buffalo...
Then something about going to an apartment building, and I purposely went one floor too high, to brag about something to strangers, but I can't remember what. I asked for directions and they directed me back downstairs, and something something I can't remember...
Then I was walking through the school hallway to go to band, and more things happened I don't remember before I woke up.
This is odd, considering 1.) it's the first time I was myself in a dream for a long, long time, and 2.) they don't usually jump settings and topics like that so much.
Any ideas?

When I dream must of the time I have different settings. I think it was on Monday that I dreamed about playing Burnout Paradise(note that I have never played the game in my life) and the game had horrible bugs, one of them was that you got stucked on the walls so I always lost the races
It seems that if you don't try to remember your dreams when you wake up and try to remember them later on that morning it is going to be harder for you to remember them :( so take notes or use a voice recorder at soon as you wake up.

Just a while ago I woke up, since I slept too early than I had imagined. I played Riviera(GBA) in my DS and started sleeping.
I saw a new dream, and, what's more, it was FANTASY. It was somewhat like Oblivion and fought a boss. I had in my hand a weird boomerang(just like the one we throw for a game at the beaches at the summer breaks) with tooths and mushroom like design. I'll try to draw it when I can.
Just imagine, I defeated this boss with this weird boomerang. At the first time it swung here and there and later than 5 secs it hit the boss' 3 heads. It was way than ever creepy.
That's how I want Natal. To sleep while playing in my dreams the games I want so much. That'd be awesome !

Hmm...? No, that was all part of the same dream. And I was having trouble remembering all of it as I was typing it, and I just woke up from a nap before typing it here. Same happens to me too. It's like you can see your own visions and some months later these visions become reality...
Have you ever heard of law of attraction? It says what you hold in mind is what you get. :p

Sure, why not? :)
I was driving my car very late at night on a road that was surrounded by a forest. In my country we have a lot of rain forests so I know how dark these roads can get at night. The thing is that suddenly my car just died and nothing made it start, so I got out of my car with my flashlight which I always have in my car because things like this happen. So, I started walking and I could hear somebody on the woods nearby and obviously I thought "Ok this could be a serial killer or somebody that could help me". So I pointed my flashlight and to my surprise there was nobody there at all. But then I saw a person on the road walking slowly to me, I was so scared to point my flashlight because I was thinking about he being a killer to be honest, so I started running and he someway managed to hit me with a stone on my back and I felt. Then I lighted him and I saw the dark aura around his body and he was like being hurt by the light.
The last thing I can remember is being worried about who the hell is going to find my body in this damn road  then I woke up.
Thanks for the interest if you read this
Been playing too much Darksiders: Wrath of War lately I think. For two nights in a row now my dreams have been heavily influenced by the game.

Ι think that nightmare is influential originally from Alan Wake and somehow from Silent Hill 1, when Harry Mason lost his daughter and his car has been destroyed due of car crash over the road wall. :) That's a great thriller nightmare you have. :)

Okay so this isn't really a nightmare... but i was really tired and driving home on a long drive and anyway... here goes...
So like it was like 2am... you know... the car is freezing cold... you pop in some music and are driving along... no one else is on the road... cruisy as. Best time to ever have to do driving in Perth. Otherwise no one knows how to drive. You start chilling to Radiohead enjoying the peacefully ride down from the hills. You see the flicker of like a dog or something running along the side of the road, but when you look over it's gone. Keep driving...
A few minutes later... you see another shadow flicker in one of your mirrors, but you're tired and don't really care, there's no other cars, it was probably just a bird, or a cat running across the road behind you...
You're now going along a street that has some trees with low hanging branches and it sounds like a nut or a twig or something falls on the roof of your car. You don't even really care, you're just concentrating on the driving and the music. Warm bed awaits at home. Your car is a bit old, and you don't treat it amazingly but it's never been a problem.
You start hearing some weird scratching noise. But figure a twig or something fell on the roof and got stuck in your roof rack and is now lightly scratching on the roof of your car. You turn the music up a bit.
As you slow down for a traffic light, you see another shadow flicker past just on the periphery of your vision. You slap yourself to see if you're just half asleep. Definitely awake. Turn up the AC to a bit colder so that you have zero chance of falling asleep.
More scratching as soon as you take off from the lights. You're only a couple of turns from your house now, and totally not thinking about driving... you've now started concentrating on that scratching noise... doesn't sound like a twig really... the twig would've fallen off by now....
Some random taxi pulls in front of you to turn a corner... you slide on your breaks pretty hard. "Stupid taxi drivers", you mutter. Just as you're accellerating off you swear you saw another shadow flicker in your periphery right behind the taxi that just turned in front of you. You put it out of your mind. Drive the next 200m, make a right turn. Drive into your driveway. Turn off the engine. All perfectly quiet, except for your music. You get out of the car, but the hairs on the back of your neck feel a bit prickly. Something feels wrong...
The security light in your carport turn on, and you've placed your keys on your roof. You stare at your keys and notice that all along your roof are scratch marks that are definitely not made by any twig. You can see long nail finger impressions. Four fingers to a hand. Digging into the roof. Scratching away right above where you were sitting only moments ago.
You freak out. Scramble for the door. Drop you key on the ground. "F)*(&)". Pick up the key. Open the door. Slam the door shut. Go inside. Turn on some music and crap TV and make some coffee. Sit down. And try not to freak the hell out.
Next morning, wake up. Scratch marks still there. As you're driving out of your house to work at 5.30am... you notice an abandoned taxi parked on a weird angle to the road right along the route you took home yesterday... you stop. Get out of your car. And examine the taxi. There's the same scratch marks along the roof and down the driver side door. But the window is half open and you peak inside the taxi. The only thing you see is a hand still gripping onto the steering wheel. Nails digging into the leather so tight that they were bleeding. The hand is ripped off in a mangled way, but no blood is anywhere else obvious within the taxi asides from directly around the hand. You're not totally freaked out by blood. But seeing the hand there, all by itself, freshly mutilated, makes you want to puke. You haven't eaten breakfast so you only gag for a while and then call the police.
A few hours later...
The police have brought you in for questioning as a witness. They've dragged out the camera photos from the taxi, and the only footage they've got leading up to about 2.24am is an image of the taxi driver calmly driving a passenger home, but the passenger is slightly out of focus. Merely wearing dark jeans and a large grey overcoat. The only thing that strikes them as odd is when they see his hand reach out to steady himself on the back of the front passengers seat as the taxi makes a fast turn just a few minutes before the footage stops and the hand seems to be a small black stub with four tiny claws sticking out from it. The police had to slow the footage right down, and it literally is only there for 2 frames. But it's there. Staring them right in the face. You can't explain it. You haven't seen the passenger before. But they keep questioning you about them. After many further questions about when you saw the taxi, why you stopped to examine it this morning, and why you thought it necessary to take a look inside the taxi and potentially destroy any evidence before letting the police take care of it, they finally let you go.
Weeks go by... you start to forget about that night...
Your doorbell rings. You reach to switch on the front light. It doesn't work. Oh well... who could it possible be at almost 2.30 in the morning? A large indistinguishable shape appears before you... you can make out some features that almost resemble a normal person... two legs... normal looking shoulders... a round shadow patch where a head should be expected. You can see the breath coming out of their... well... wherever this face is. You want to do something, but every part of your body feels completely paralyzed. If only you could just close the door or run and you would be completely safe and back to drinking your warm mug of coffee. The thing in front of you mumbles something.. "Crrnnn clsserrr"..
"What?" you proclaim. Using all the remaining energy in your body that is not currently being used to stop your legs from melting away beneath you.
"Come closer!"
You try to run. But instead your body moves towards the shadowy dark thing in front of you. It leans in towards you ear and it's small dark dishevelled claw reaches around your back, embracing you. "I'm watching you".
Your heart skips a beat. You blink your eyes. You're back sitting on the couch drinking a warm mug of coffee. You start feeling very uncomfortable. Your eyes skittishly flick around the room looking for danger. Looking for that thing. Escape seems impossible. You can't even comprehend how to begin avoiding any further encounters. Did you even encounter it, you ponder? Your body lets out an uncontrollable shiver and you switch over to a crap TV show to get rid of the remaining nerves. You don't get any sleep that night. The next day you become completely paranoid. You don't go into work. You don't go and chat to any of your friends. You stay inside and don't see anyone or answer the phone.
4pm. Your door knocks. You freak out. Your body is sweating uncontrollably. You're still wearing your pyjamas. You hair is dishevelled. Your body is running a temperature. Your eyes are puffy and red. You approach the door, but only after first peering through the window a few metres from the door. You see the same cop as the other day. Crap. More questions. You open the door. "Taking your time i see, good day to you i see. I tried your office but they said you hadn't showed...is everything alright?"... "Not really... i'm freaking out"... "That's okay sir... i've got this warrant here to ah look around your house, do you mind if I come in?"... "Well... yes... I do... you can't come in! No one can come in! No one is allowed in okay... it's freaking me out. It's out there!"... "What's out there sir? I'm the police, if anything out there wants to get you i can protect you from it."... "No you can't... you don't understand..."...
He pushes you out of the way and proceeds to wander around your house. It's a very tidy 2 by 1. You live by yourself and spend most of your time at work, so there's not much time for collecting trinkets or getting the place messy. He quickly scopes out the property and comes back to you. "So you said you were driving that night... let's take a look at your car?"... You mumble something incomprehensible... something even you don't understand.... the cop gives you a weird look. He approaches the car... and notices the scratches... "Well i guess you don't take as much care of this as you do of your house"... "Well... i'm about to get rid of the car... don't need it any more".... He jumps into the front seat... starts the engine... and then from your perspective it seems as though the windows and doors close on their own. The cop looks at you.. but not in any angry way... he looks like he's asking for help. You can't see anything else wrong or anything in the car... but the cop looks like he's looking all around inside the car... trying to avoid something... but he's pinned into his seat. Suddenly you see the black claw again... over his shoulders.... slowly edging closer towards wrapping all the way around his neck. He stares straight into your pupils. You look away just as blood splatters all over the interior of your car. Again you get that same weird sense of being paralyzed. And then your eyes feel heavy and close.
You wake up again on the couch with a cup of tea this time. What the hell is happening? Is any of this real? You get up and open the door to your house. Your car is still there... there's blood all over the interior... and a hand... digging into the steering wheel... mangled off at the wrist. Nails grinding in still freshly bleeding over the dashboard. You vomit and pass out.
You wake up... this time you're in a soft comfy bed, lying on your back with some plastic wires on your body and a plastic mask thing making mechanical noises. You can't sit up or move your head. It hurts. Well not that much. More of a whiplash. Your slowly adjust your eyes to the room. Looks like you're in a hospital, though you've never really been in hospital before, except to visit people that are dying. A nurse comes in carrying some food on a tray. She smiles at you with big white teeth and sounds bubbly and joyous when she says "You're awake, that's great. Just in time for something to eat". "Where am I? How did I get here? What's wrong with me? And um... yeah?" ... "Oh we'll get to all that as soon as we can... but for now it's time to eat.".... She starts to cut up some of the food into smaller pieces and you try to reach out to grab a fork... but it doesn't work. "Hey are my arms tied down or something?" ... "Oh no... honey.... are you in any pain? Do you want me to bump up the morpheine?"... She starts to shovel some food into your mouth. You spit it out. "No. I'm not in any pain. I'm perfectly fine. Can i feed myself? I'm not a baby you know."... She glances down below my line of sight... you try to lift my head but can't. She then puts the tray down and removes the strapping around my head stopping me from moving it too much. "Just take a deep breath" she says. The straps come loose. You slowly raise my head... and there... is my arm... or what used to be my arm... a black dishevelled, burnt crispy hand with only four fingers burnt back almost to the bone.... "AAhhhhhhhhhhRHHHHHHHH! What the hell did you do to me?!".... you start to fade out from all the sounds around you in shock... but the last mumbling you hear is "... you were in a car accident.... and there was a fire.... the other driver died... you should feel lucky".
I wasn't lucky.

You've probably noticed that dreams and sleeping involve some of the strangest things in life. Weird, almost paranormal things, because of dreams, lack of sleep, sleepING, but anyway.. I just want to share one of these weird "what" moments:
I was studying in our storage/guest house. I don't know why I was, except for the fact that it was quiet there. That's probably the reason why I went there in the first place. But it was awfully cold in there. Anyway.. I hadn't had much sleep that day so I was constantly falling asleep. I kept on reading though.
I remember having a feeling of falling asleep. I was reading on a mattress with some dusty pillows and a blanket, so it would have been a nice place to fall asleep. Though it was cold. I decided to go to the toilet, so I went. When I came back I bump into my sister and her friend. She lives in a different city so it was a bit odd, but she said that she had a day off from school so I figured that it was nothing special. They were looking for some old films from the book shell at the guest house.
I said to the girls that I was reading. They stood there for a moment searching for films, then left. I kept on reading. Really tired.. Must, rest... I wake up. Still at the guest house, book on my face. Youck, bugger.. After cleaning my face I realized that I needed to go to the toilet, AGAIN. I come back, go to the mattress and keep reading. Fell to sleep again, I guess.
Then, I wake. This time, for real. I'm not sure how, but I know it. This time I was really awake. I guess it's that feeling where you just know it.
"I must have fallen asleep." Anyway, I still had that very strong feeling that everything had really happen. But when I was sending a message to my sister, checking if she really had come to Pieksämäki today, I knew. I knew that she had never been here that day.
It's just those lucid dream moments where real world and dream world become mixed.
After waking up and sending that message I thought: "Damn, I need to go to the toilet... AGAIN."

Everytime i'm dreaming and when i'm in the dream i know i'm dreaming i always look for ways to kill my self in the dream since i already know, this is just a dream and nothing bad is going to happen to me.
like the other day i was watching this movie about this guy in a tall building looking down from his office, then he hears a knock on the door, and there she comes her hot secretary, and then after a while they are making out and boom the whole deal, well 2 days later after i watched that movie i had a dream that i was that guy in the office, and that there was this hos secretary getting into my office, ready to get down and dirty.
well i didn't do that instead since i knew i was only dreaming the thing i did was to open the window and jump from it from like 30 stories high, i remenber just feeling a strong feeling when i was coming down and done, dream is over.

Here's another nightmare.
When I slept again this morning, I saw a ghost city with the roads being cut off from the darkness. Everything was pitch dark, except of the moonlight. I tried to save my ass from the darkness by rushing to the light in front of me, just like Jack Altair(Assasin's Creed), who rushed his ass from rooftop to rooftop, like an Alley cat, to lose his pursuers. When I reached the light and the moonlight faded away, I woke up.
I think this nightmare is an influence from Silent Hill: Shattered Memories. If I keep it up, I might end up writing a good horror novel.
edit: I just remembered a nightmarish boss fight.
That was when I fought an Oblivion-like boss fight in a pitch black apartment. The Boss was a moving and flaming wall with 3 demon heads, which reached me very slowly. As a weapon, I had a 3-bladed demon boomerang in my right hand. When I tossed the boomerang to the 3-headed demon wall, the boomerang sliced the hell out all 3 heads, while I was walking backwards. When all 3 heads were destroyed, that meant my victory at that boss fight and my companion rushed on me to share the victory with me. After the victory, I woke up.

One of the most horrifying dreams I ever had goes like this:
I was in a decrepit seaside ghost town with my friend and an older man at night, and we had to find a raft to get out. We eventually found the raft, and when we got on it, (no, this is not the scary part, just random) my iPod got soaked, so I had to toss it. We took the raft across a lake and a river. Once we finally landed, we entered an abandoned hospital, (by now it was daytime) and went inside. Once we got in, a grotesque rat-like creature chased us out, and once we got outside, a little girl appeared behind us. She whispered into my ear, "Can't you see the sun? Doesn't it make everything better?" I turned around and looked at her. She was incredibly pale, and had voids where her eyes would be situated. She dragged me to an abandoned truck, and started slashing me with a circular medical blade, cackling as she did it. She taunted me with lucid visions, and entered my thoughts, destroying me in a psychological manner. Then with both her fingers, she closed my eyes, and I woke up in a cold sweat, my heart running from the nightmare's threat.

I am seeing a lot of these "semi" lucid dreams where everything is absolutely clear(so that you can't really tell the difference from real or dream), but no "wait a minute, I'm in a dream" happens. I just go along wait and act my way out like I would naturally do, and then I wake up. It is really messing with my head in some parts of the day.
I guess it is not that good idea to take too many naps..
I am not sure if I am seriously suffering from a lot of lack of sleeping, or is it just.. Happening without any obvious reason. Anyways, last Saturday(yesterday for me). My sisters had a real party with four other people and the noise was KILLING ME! I did manage to get to sleep amazingly quickly, but I think the quality of the sleep suffered a major decrease.
So anyways, I guess I am still a bit out of what's happening. I really thought we had a shopping trip to local market, a phone call with dad, mom came home, but no. I mean, wtf...

Reading GunGrave's post on a another thread reminds me of this one. It reminds me of just how random my dreams have been lately. Like before, I keep seeing semi-lucid dreams with the exception that it isn't really lucid because the realization of being asleep does not happen.
But the oddest dreams, really. Must be because my thoughts are constantly so down to earth because of the exams. All the "not so normal" thinking pushes through when consciousness steps aside.
I was on a road. There was a crossroads ahead. In a smaller road, coming from some forest, was a dusty old white Volkswagen beetle. A man was unpacking the trunk for the young children. Then they, the man and the woman on the front seat, left and the children turned towards me.
That part of the dream stops dead at this moment
A man and a woman(not the ones whit the car) fall into a strange factory. Like one of those weird Call of Cthulhu themed ones where the factory is more like a castle than a production plant. Anyways, the two people get separated. Both of them experience some strange stuff, but I can only recall the one incident that happen to the woman. She found herself at a dark room. Putting the lights on, she notices that it is a light and beautiful baby room. You know, flowers, baby stuff, toys, pink, white... And some bubbles. Yeah, I am sure I remember some bubbles(reminds me of a song called noisy pinkbubbles)
Anyway, the story continues as there is a discussion on the plant. I think it was the man and the woman there with some professor on a lab or something. They were wondering, especially the woman, why is it that the world is such a cruel and unhappy place. The doctor replies to agree and says that he was left by his parents as a little boy, with her sister, to a crossroads, and told that they should survive on their own. Strangely familiar, eh?
So, continuing the discussion, the woman brings up an incident regarding the discussion about the unhappiness of the world. One night, there was an explosion. All the town started doing something odd, but she does not know what, because she is inside. Her parents do not want her to go outside.
The dream then ends when the professor tells that there IS happiness in the world. He says that the incident the woman was referring to was caused by a helium cloud exploding over the city. All of the towns people started laughing(don't know why. That's not exactly what helium does). They start smiling, all of them.
And then I start to hear noises from downstairs and I wake up.
So, I got a cartoon/reality mixed dream, from references to Call of Cthulhu, thief, Finland(as the environments seemed to have familiarities with it), an old cotton factory in Hyvinkää, some horror games and some comedy movies, and a professor with childhood problems.
And the other ones were at least at the same level of randomness as this one was. I mean, what the hell...

I mostly got the dreams of fantasy and the world is really beyond the words and don't have words to explain....
Same here. I saw 2 of those fantasy worlds. Here are these, I wrote down.
That was somewhere in a medieval era. I was at a strange fortress, which surrounded the lake, which was way down there. The fortress was more of a platform puzzle to get my ass down there with my companions. There were some skeleton warriors, who had a sticky black armor with leaves surrounding it. Once you touch those skeleton guys, it was difficult to get rid of them. I tried to shake them, but no result. I tried to kick them or punch them, but it gave a very awesome result. I dropped them to the lake, where they died. I dropped myself down to a platform, where there was a chest. It had nothing in it, so I continued myself from dropping down. After that, I faced a skeletal boss there. That guy was a bit fast and swung his long and heavy blade very easily as if it was a leaf. I died 2-3 times by trying to defeat them and after that I woke up.
The next one was at a remote island, where there’s no environmental pollution. The sea was bright and very beautiful with corals, that were near the beaches (usually we see them to the farthest deep seas, but it’s rare to see them near the beaches), same goes for the beaches. There were many unique stones, which you could break without grudge. The stones had the colors of the bee (Dark Yellow and Black) and were quite big. There was a river filled with those kinds of stones and you could swim there. That island was filled with unique trees, alongside with the phoenix trees(those exotic trees, I mean).
The next one was at the wasteland, where reside many giant monsters and flowers, so huge that have the size of a titan and could smash you with one go. I drove a kart ala Mad Max with a companion, who happened to an Indian. We were going to see some good friends at a remote building, where happened to be a refugee base. One of our friend, who’s a queen, was injured and we had to visit her to respect her and request her for new missions. We even had to rest for the next mission against the huge monsters.
So don't expect me to write down many dreams. :P I have the Lovecraft Effect. :P

I remember having a classic nightmare when I was in London with my mum. One of the most recent nightmares of mine actually, even though it was some 3 years ago.
I was on a ship. It was actually the same ship from the Moomin's episode about a lighthouse. And the same thing was happening as it was in the episode. It was dark, the ship was empty(unlike in the episode) and I saw this gigantic ghost ship coming towards me. I just froze dead and woke up. My heart was pounding and I could not sleep for two hours.
It was odd. I lost my fears from Moomin's a long time ago. It's kids stuff after all(though I still think that there is truly something spooky in many animes).
And of course, Moomin's were an adult book series once upon a time. And then they made the anime, and many children(especially those from and around Finland) suffered from "Grokephobia" all their childhood.
I have had a truly terrible childhood when it comes to dreaming. So many problems, so many sleepless nights. It was literally just two years ago when I started to break up from my need to live a machine, television or something, on, so that I'd hear some noise and be able to sleep without thinking about a black figure standing in the middle of a room, silently, doing nothing(but still having the urgent need to hurt me in some way).
Sleeping paralysis plus the fear of groke were my worst enemies in my childhood. I started to rationalize things so that I could be able to sleep, but it rarely worked.
I had a thinking process of every night on how could the groke come in. Would I hear it? Could it open the door on it's own? Could be in this room even though I checked it before I went to sleep?
I remember a climax point where I suddenly started to act against my fears in dreams.
For instance, there was a dream about a party that we had on our house. It was literally bluish black night outside. Suddenly, in the midst of all the people(there were a lot of them), I saw a ghost. I panicked and ran up. It didn't seem to be following me. I thought that if I stuck upstairs I would never be able to sleep lightly that night.
So.. I mustered every little courage I had, and went downstairs to face it. It was standing outside. I suddenly had a feeling that I could talk to it and by doing so, relieve my fear a bit. I started doing okay, opened the door and said politely, "what are you doing here(like I knew the ghost from somewhere)?" The ghost opened it's mouth and was going to say something starting with two letters, T and U. But it spooked me awake.
I remember dreams about clowns, after watching IT when I was 8 or so.
A dream where the clown was our new baby sitter.
And a dream, where the dream wasn't exactly a nightmare, but a nerve draining experience. I had to bring food to the clown or it would eat me.
Dreams can also be spooky when looking them out of context, but while in the dream, they are more like odd and unlogical. There was dream where I was in a totally unknown school. When I left to school, the changed to black and white. Nothing too special happened during the dream, except some friends from school described about some strange stuff that had happened to them the other day. I walk out after the day, and find myself in a deserted city, the dream being still black and white. Then I wake up

Hi All,
Well, Dreams are what u do and what we thing in your daily course of activity.According to my perception the thing about which we think a lot is ultimately converted into dreams. Some times we had good and some times we had bad dreams but it is very rare that our dreams converted into reality.

Malls are so scary at night. They are so big and empty when close to closing time. Once I walked like for 10 minutes in total darkness with my sister in a mall because we wen't to watch a late movie. That was scary.
Today I dreamed about playing Alan Wake
I once did that, But for me i had to go to the restroom and i went there like 5 minutes before they closed the Mall, and to make things worst this mall was 3 stories high and the restroom was closed because the people that clean the Mall were cleaning them, so i had to take the stairs and go all the way up the the 3rd floor the restrooms were up there, i remenber looking all over the place and thinking how creppy this big place looks without people.
Wow, I had a crazy good dream tonight. It was like a nightmare, but a really, really good one. I've been trying to wrap my head around a sort of horror theme lately (for writing purposes), and I think my mind just handed me one. Incredible.
Now I need to hurry up and take notes before the memory of the dream fades.

I rarely have nightmares but two nights ago I had a very scary dream. I can't remember most of it, but it was like someone was watching me sleeping. I woke up and couldn’t move any part of my body it was as someone was tying me down; suddenly something grabbed my leg with force. It really freaked me out and I woke up soon after screaming.

I personally think dreams are a combination of all the random crap in your head being thrown together, your mind trying to work out problems, and psychic visions.
Once I had a lucid dream. It was a great experience and thought that practising to see these kind of dreams would be cool, but the project never really started..
I think iv actually had anywhere from 5-10 lucid dreams. Kinda hard to keep track

this is true. my cousin and i were born six months apart. she came with a streak of grey hair. my widow's peak was completely grey. both of us have this mild 'psychic' ability. quite often what we need to know comes in our dreams which are dolby sound technicolor. i actually look forward to colonoscopies because i don't dream under anesthesia.

I have had some weird dreams today.
It was about 2 retro games I have NEVER seen ever in my life.
The one was about an old man, who happens to be a shapeshifter and a magician. It was in a bedroom with someone sleeping there inside the castle. That old man popped out from somewhere, and I started playing this game. After that I woke up. The place was inside the castle filled with torches and huge doors, that have the size of a 3-meter tall person. There was a chair, where that old man popped out with his white smoke, and an usual bed with red king-size sheets with someone sleeping in there.
The second retro game is that I played a fallen angel fighting some demons inside a dark blue cavern passageway. (That guy was the character I'm preparing with my friend.) He fought some quite fast demons, who wanted to kill him without hesitation. I remember he had an orange-haired companion helping him with the demons and leading him somewhere.
I'll have to put them in my retro game I'm working as a screenwriter and author.
I hope this retro game becomes a HD remake in the future. :)

Another weird dream I had, that freaked me out.
I was being chased by small poisonous and glowly green spider-bags(They were a combination of bags with spider legs).
I was at a building and was chased by a swarm of them. Tried to find a safe place to get rid of them. When I found myself safe at a place with a sofa in there, someone just put on a spider-bag on me and freaked me out, so freaked that my breath has been cut from terror, and freezed like an iceberg from the horror from being biten. One of those spider-bags DID bite me, while I was lying at the sofa from the horror. That guy there didn't understand what just happened to me(Like Fahrenheit - Just like Lucas Kane with those demons in his office). After the biting, I died.
Still can't forget that horror, and thanks to that I was lucky to write it down for you guys. That kind of species is new for me too!
Second dream was like a cyberpunk one...
It was at a mountain with full of greenery, like the green environment was back at its peace. I figured out that I had a double morph. One of the human morph, and one of the cyborg morph. My companion looked like Lady in the anime "Space Adventure Cobra", but at first didn't understand what's going on, but when I got out I was chased by that companion telling me to stop and to return back home. For some unknown reason, I escaped from that house. It was also night, so I didn't see anything like that very much.

My dreams have seem to have been prophecies of some sort, since I tend to see what happens tomorrow.
The psychology is, I guess, that when you think about "what needs to be done tomorrow" the thought follows you to your dreams.
I tend not to have weird dreams, at least by standards as dreams go, but more to the problem, I have dreams that feel real. I guess it is something normal to dreams, thinking that this is real, even though you are dreaming. But for the last two months, my dreaming has gone so far that I constantly mix it with reality. I have to ask people, was it a dream, or did something actually happen.
Last night I had been listening Stephen King's IT from an audiobook and had a little hard night's sleep. I spend a day at Derry, which was an unpleasent feeling. In the end the dream went quite well considering the atmosphere, but I woke up sweating as I heard child laughter and a clown talking to a man in a rabbit suit with an axe.

There's something that's been in my mind for almost as long as I can remember. You see, I've always had very strange, yet vivid and immersive dreams. These aren't horrifying nightmares or visions of the future (though I do feel deja-vu a lot, but that's another story), they're just very abstract and random. As I said, these dreams, even in their absurdity, may often feel realistic as I experience them, yet when I wake up, the memories always have a certain thing with them that indicates that it was all just a dream. I just know what it was, even if it's completely normal and realistic.
However, there is a dream-like memory that doesn't posess this trait. While it is not as exaggerated as most of my dreams, it is still scientifically impossible, so I rationally classify it as a dream. However, the aforementioned lack of the "dream-trait" gives me different impressions.
Anyway, the memory is quite short, and involves me standing on my bed in the early morning. I know what time it is because the curtains are closed, the room's light is on and my bed looks like it's been slept in, meaning my mother has just woken me up. I jump into the air, only I don't fall down normally. I fall down very slowly, as if I was in water. Somehow, I manage to perform a "double-jump", just like what you get in videogames. I'm in mid-air yet I propel myself up a few more inches. I do this several times, while slowly descending all the while, till I get close to the light bulb. This memory is of when I was around 4-5 years old, so it would have been a few times my height. Once I reach it I can feel the heat emanating from it, which startles and scares me, making me fall back down at a normal speed.
I don't know where that memory came from or why I perceive it as such, but I've always had it there, and subconsciously it's been a real memory, almost as real as the memory of the last thing I ate.

Before you start laughing, hating, doubting or whatever emotion of disbeleive you have, hear me out please..
I am Hollowpoint. Some of you remember me from a while ago around the Alan Wake 540p discussion. I bought the LE edition of Alan Wake at launch only to find it stolen with my xbox. I recently bought another Xbox 360 and an LE Alan Wake. Now as far back as my memory goes, I know I have had deja-vu's practically all my life, small ones, really mindf*cking ones. One time when I was playing my 360, that eerie deja-vu feeling really took over me. As if I was living a dream that had real-life lagging behind a second or two. I paused the game I was playing and I expected a friend of mine to message me and I even saw myself opening the message and reading it, then when I snapped back to reality I was in the same situation patiently waiting for the message to arrive.. and then after a second or two I saw the message pop up, from the same user with the exact same text I saw before. I felt disorientated and confused.
I have had some deja-vu's after that, but none as heavy as the one I described. Now I completed Alan Wake past Saturday the 15th and the Signal on the 17th I beleive. Ever since I started to play AW, my deja-vu's were getting heavier and longer, and me getting more consious in them, as if I'm between my deja-vu and real-life for a moment viewing both.
Yesterday however was a more freaky day for me. My alarm clock wakes me up becouse I can't wake up by myself. I have to go to a construction site at 6 in the morning becouse I'm an Architectural Engineering student doing his internship. That night I forgot to set my alarm clock, and that night I had the weirdest dream. I will spare you the details, but the dream ended in me helping washing some dishes. The person I was helping said something to me right before I woke up. I live in Holland and she talked to me in Dutch. She said: 'Bedankt for het helpen met het bord'. Which means 'Thanks for helping with the plate'. The word bord cought my attention after I woke up. Here is the eerie part, I woke up one minute after the exact time I set my alarm clock. After opening my eyes I found them locked on the clock in my room. From where I sleep, looking at the clock will have to make me concentrate on turning my neck in a way that I will look at it becouse from my normal sleeping angles, it's impossible to see. I woke up, with my head turned towards the clock and my eyes locked on the time, with the dream fresh in mind. That is when I thought of the meaning of the sentence in my dream. See 'bord' is a plate to eat off. A bord here is also a sign. So when I translate the sentence I heard again in the context in which I woke up, in English, it'll say: Thank you for helping with the sign. This left me wondering if someone/something gave me a sign that I had to wake up.. or made me wake up I really don't know.
I really don't know why I'm typing this story here, but I feel I have to talk about it, express myself. I really, really hope you guys beleive me when I say that I'm not making this up. I just need some people to talk to about it. Also I'm a very rational and mind consious person. I'm an A. Engineer so becouse I'm from a scientific corner, I try to find rational explanations, but I can't becouse I'm living the deja-vu's so well.. it's not a second, it's a whole moment.
Has anyone ever experienced anything like this?
Edit: Forgot to say. I rarely listen to any other music than I self pick and transfer to my HD2, but since yesterday, I keep hearing the song 'Just a Dream' by Nelly. I swear by anything that is precious to me I'm not making this up..

Well. It seems you have experienced the dream deja vu in your real life. It also happens to me. When you dream of something, some months later it becomes reality.
Maybe I have the Lovecraft Effect, but it doesn't mean that whatever I can dream, everything comes true some months later.
It's rare for you to have this deja vu thing. It almost resembles the Butterfly Effect in some way.
Speaking of dreams, I remember a new dream I saw just yesterday... Gotta write it down.
I saw a weird dream yesterday and I still remember it very clearly. I'm writing this here, so I won't forget it. It might come in handy for me to create my game someday. :)
I was in an underground building with two people. One was an terrified woman, who's afraid of anything that comes from a really thin passageway that almost fits a storageroom's small door. The walls were green coloured like the color of the leaves. The walls had the bathroom type marbles on them. I was fortunate to fit in, although that the passageway was quite thin and I had to walk strafe in order to proceed further. The right turn was a pitch dark passage and the left had a mirror and a toilet at the turn "T" at the end, where they are. I saw myself at the mirror, while I did my "personal" job. I had to pee there, in a funny way. :D After that I woke up without problems.
It sounds like a Penumbra-like dream.

I saw pretty weird dream few days ago. I had waited for TimeSplitters 4 to be accounced once again. I checked one forum and I what I just saw in the home page? '' TimeSplitters 4 has been accounced once again! ''. I quickly read all the information and well...Other TS games were FPS, but what TS4 was going to be? Ultra realistic platform puzzle game! Everyone else were more than happy about it, but I just filled the forum with how horrible thing it's to change FPS to something like that. Then I got banned and the dream ended. I should maybe stop waiting for the game, before it really will be something like that...

Ever since I was a kid I've been having this dream about the walls of my bedroom turning darkish purple and their surface starts moving violently, as if buckets of water were thrown on them from the inside of the wall. It scared the crap out of me. I've been having this dream at least once a month for over 15 years.
So back in 2006 I decided to deal with this by indeed painting the walls of my room with the colour purple. The dream comes back from time to time but not as much as it used to and waking up afterwards still is frightening because I find myself in the room I was just dreaming about but hey, at least the walls aren't moving.

New Dream:
This time it involves the sorcery with some action. I overenjoyed this dream. :D i hope to include this in my novel, because I want to share it with everyone. :D
That one was at a clear lake, so clear as if you were still in the past and it wasn’t polluted by some factories or tanks or hasn’t been discovered by some corrupted businessmen and politicians, where it contained some ancient ruins of an used-to-be city. A lot of the debris of these ruins are still underwater, but some tall debris are still being stood up till the lake’s surface, full of corals, used to be in the sea, but they have been stuck there since the high wave. What I did there? I don’t know. I tried desperately to create a new combination of fireball with water and fire. I sank continually to the deep and created a weird ball, which could be the combination of fireball I tried to create. It was like as if I was in training, but at the other hand, I fought some invisible enemy there, who tried to kill me with blue fire magic.

This one was in the volcano with a lava platform maze. There were a lot of mechanisms to move the platforms in order to proceed ahead. I remember that I solved a puzzle regarding the platforms just above and around the lava. I used 2 mechanisms to move the 5 caged victims in order to form a bridge, and lastly, I did go to a small lava-proof room and activated the last mechanism. While I lifted the level down, I heard their screams from the pain resulting the bodies being melted by lava. By their screams, it was obvious that the lava was the Eternal Flame itself. The normal lava wouldn’t let anyone to scream, but this lava is special, as it’s the famous Eternal Flame. After the screams I woke up. This place is dubbed The Lava Maze.

Another fantasy dream, this time underwater!
I swam, and don't know, but I had the ability to breath underwater. I saw some weird huge and green spores with a temple on top of each spore. Each time I shortened my distance with the spores, I saw that those huge spores were so huge as a Tyrannosaur Rex, and I did cut them in half. When I cut them in half, they sunk to the bottom of the ocean and sprouted as the giant bean tree and lifted up the rock temple. When It lifted the rock temple up, I entered the temple and took my treasure prize. :)
Man, I should note it down to include it in my dark lore novel. :)

Another horror dream that just a while ago I had.
One night I was in my family’s house at Neos Marmaras village. I woke up from this bed, where I usually sleep. I noticed this weird TV with something which moved by its own. In the TV’s frame I saw a green-coloured river with stones and the fishes were swimming there. At one point, I saw something that ate the fishes non-stop just like a sea anemone. It moved its mouth towards me as if it wanted more food. I was very careful at this point not to touch the TV or not to reach near this thing. I went to the kitchen to look for something fishy to give it. I found a glass containing with a fresh fish. I took the fresh fish and dropped it to the TV. That TV was no ordinary TV. This TV emitted magic and gave life to the dead fresh fish I dropped earlier to the TV. This fish, after its revival, started swimming. This thing moved and started eating the resurrected fish and has gone outside of the TV in front of me revealing its morph. This little thing was a combination of a sea anemone as its head and of a iguana as its body. Only its colour was of the leopard, with the difference of it being gold instead of yellow. It tried to attack me and eat me, but it’s so small like a Chihuahua and moved so fast. Of course, it held back as I noticed that this thing was afraid of me rather than going to attack me. After I entered my room, where I woke up in my dreamworld, I woke really up to the reality’s world.
Enjoy. :)

So... I had a Dejavu today... weird, I remember looking for a work partner on the University website and I couldn't find him there... I dream about that a long time ago...
So you think dejavu is real or just a product of our imagination?
TannosukeGR

No, that was a vision from the future, so it's not dejavu. We always have these from the dreams and some months later they are becoming real without us realizing it until this moment. :)
The term dejavu refers to the double real-life experience, not from the dream to the real life. :)

I saw a dream about this sort of TV contest thing where you phone in the answers. It was this kind of senior high themed stuff. One girl phoned and answered in for the first two questions which was weird, and what was even weirder was the answer; television. I mean, I couldn't see the problems that you were suppose to solve but they contained numbers and some text, so if the answer was television, I mean what...?
Then somebody answered the third question and won thousand dollars. Then she tried to ask whether it was possible for two people to have the money separately and the dream died. I woke up. It was time for my meds.
I don't understand anything. Maybe it was something about me reading the Dark Tower where Jake was reading those riddles and all...

I had this strange dream, I think it's a sort of allusion to the Taoist symbol of Yin-Yang, the duality of man.
In the dream, a young monk-looking dude was sitting underneath a tree, reading a book. Suddenly, this other dude in a lab-coat, holding this ray-gun, poured this chemical onto the tree and it died. Lab-coat dude gives an invader-zim esque laugh. So, monk-looking dude pours water onto the tree and it comes back to life.
The monk looking dude is yin and the lab-coat dude is yang.

I would like to describe a dream I had last night...it was very strange and wild but afterwards a lot of fun too! I think the combination of reading some wikipedia articles about Finland and some Soneraman (Ilkka Villi) commercials have caused this dream.
I hope you enjoy this description of the dream :)
When I stepped in a boat, I was determined to go to Finland. A blonde woman was sitting as well in this tiny boat, and she knew the way to it. When I started to row, we came in a vast area of pack ice (Is there pack ice in Finland? :giggle:). I needed the help of the woman, but instead she started to sing horrible songs and laughing all the way. After a while, everything snapped inside my mind. I threw the woman out of the boat, into the cold water.
Now I could row faster, and without the annoying woman.
A small inconvenience appeared; I was lost in the pack ice, not knowing if I had reached Finland or not. When I looked at the horizon, I saw a man standing there. "Thank god, a man!" I thought. With tears of hapiness, I quickly rowed to the man. It made me even more smile that it was Soneraman, dressed up fancy. When I went ashore, I noticed that mr. Ilkka Villi wasn't pleased to see me. He stared at the empty boat. I felt the pressure rising and I slowly backed away. This wasn't good news. The Soneraman shouted something that sounded Finnish and suddenly the whole development team of Remedy appeared. I was glad to see all those great people, but I could feel the rising hostility between me and the angry developers. I started to run away from Soneraman and the angry Remedy developers. My Dutch feet hadn't yet got used to the slippery Finnish pack ice, and when I started to slip, the mass of shouting Finnish men was coming closer and closer.
My heart pounded in my chest when I heard Ilkka Villi shouting encouraging words to the Angry Remedy Developers. My feet gave up, and I fell on the ground. When Soneraman and the Angry Remedy Developers came close, I looked like a confused pinguin floundering wildly. Soneraman shouted again a command, and the whole group jumped upon me, like I was a rugby ball.
With that last thought of my dream, I woke up, my heart pounding in my chest.
It was one of the most scary and epic dreams I have ever had.

2 days ago, I had a very thriller-ish dream, which reminded me of Lovecraft's "Shadows over Innsmouth".
It was a night, where my mom drove and took me along to a downhill road. We were in a forest mountain with the moon far away, just like in Europe, especially in Greece, glowing the darkened sky giving a bit of its moonlight on the forest. That atmosphere was really beautiful, so beautiful that I wish you guys would be in the same dream with me to see it.
There, I argued with my mom about something, which irritated me, I demanded my mom to stop this car immediately and let me go out. From my fury, I ran onto a sandroad and I was lost in the forest, and then forgot how to return back. After a while, I walked deeper in the forest, because I was tired from the running. I walked all the way, while I smelt the clear air, heard no sound at all, except of my footsteps and my panting, and saw the natural attraction of the forest and the moon. While I walked all the way down the sandroad and looking around like a tourist, I saw a small isolated village with a mine nearby. After noticing the village, I saw the staircase leading there. On my way to this village, I saw a crossroad leading to the mine and the village. The road to the mine was really dangerous and sloppy, so I walked very carefully to take a peek on the entrance of this mine. Outside of this mine, there were only rocks, 2 lamps supporting the entrance and a mine cart. I didn't notice anything special to it at first, but after a second look I noticed diamonds on that mine cart, so I thought it was a diamond mine. Since the road was sloppy and dangerous, and since it's night, I could no longer go to this mine, because I couldn't see a thing.
Next thing, I returned back to this crossroad heading to this village. Every house had its lights turned off, except of one. I headed there to ask for a phone call. When I entered in, I met some strange family with 3 children(an adult boy, a teenager boy and a little girl). I greeted them and asked them for a phone call, since my mobile phone didn't catch a signal there, but they said that they do not have any phones there and apologized to me about it. So next I asked them, if they could provide me a bed to sleep, so the next morning I could go back the way I took before being lost. They apologized yet again, because they couldn't provide a bed, since this family consists of 6 people in one house, so there was no room left for me. After hearing their explanation, I had nothing to say, and stayed for a while and chatted a bit with them to learn a bit about the mine and the village itself.
After this much conversation, I woke up peacefully...
I'll need to conclude it in my thriller nuvela.

My wife had a dream once where her family came over to visit and her dad heard a strange sound in our attic and he went up to check it out, came back down and said it was nothing at all. Pretty much throughout the dream someone found a reason to go up in the attic for whatever reason. Finally after I was the last to go up and come back out, she decided to see what was up there. She found our dead bodies laying in the floor of the attic and our doppelgangers were peering in at her through the attic opening.

You probably dream a lot more than you realise but we only remember a small portion of them which frustrates me as my memory is messed up enough as it is.
Dreams as far as I understand it are created as our brains are disconnected from the rest of our bodies in REM sleep it then has nothing to create for us as it is receiving no information from our senses. Because of this the brain uses what has been stored already to fill in some blanks as we're not quite conscious but not completely unconscious, so we're sort of sub conscious.

Then how do you explain my past experience within my dreams/nightmares? I felt everything as if it was a reality. I smelled fresh air, I heard anything(I was born deaf), I walked on everything and touched everything, and saw and remembered everything. I ever see a lot of worlds I have NEVER seen. I even communicated with every person I met in my dreams.
Those unknown worlds motivated me from becoming as who am I, an author.

Of course everything would feel real as you currently experience the world through what your brain interprets from physical information. As I said the brain is filling in blanks so can create spaces that are completely unfamiliar however they may use a lot of different features from different things

That explains this situation...
I even saw in my dream the Hindi and Tibetian Mythology about this giant frog (http://www.helium.com/items/1644116-myth) I have never seen or read before... -.-
3) Disaster Mythology of Tibet
According to an ancient Tibetan mythological folklore, the earth is being held on its back by a giant frog. When the frog moves on the land, or jumps into water, it causes an earthquake. Bali tradition of North India also has mythological legends of the same story.

You know, trying to remember your dreams (and thus advancing you closer to a controlled lucid dream experience) is said to strengthen your general memory as well.
In fact that is on of the purposes of sleep. For instance, any student who has ever had to experience the learning curve for any exam in his/her life probably has heard that part of a good reading process is a good sleeping rhythm and most importantly, enough sleep per night.
I have heard from fellow students that many are actually more effective with remembering stuff if they've slept (generally unwillingly ) too little the night before their exam, and this might be true, however long and regular sleep will overtime, be more effective. Or that's what the teachers have said many times.
My last sleep was probably something about Guild Wars 2 beta sign up (yeah, hah, funny). I remember getting in and then... Something.
No, don't remember. My dreams are generally describing every day life situations and tend to be amazingly vivid, so sometimes it's terribly hard to focus on what's real and what was just a dream.

That's entirely true, because when I was really young, I used to not know how to lace my shoes. But, at the same day's night, I dreamt of how to lace my shoes by myself alone, and then the next day I did that in my first try without any help. ^^

I don't know if anyone brought this up, but lucid dreaming is a pretty interesting way of reinforcing what you've learned. Like if you're learning a new language, you can try to have conversations with yourself in the new language while you sleep. Only problem is, you have to learn to lucid dream first, which can take a while.

I don't know about you, but last night I had a dream about Barbara Jagger, Alan Wake's antagonist. I was in a lower elevated part of my real life grandfather's ranch, and when I approached my grandfather's house, where I saw a strange looking old lady, she suddenly looked me with her eyes, and I could swear I saw the Darkness coming out of her face. She told me she came to visit my grandfather, that they were the long time friends, and to "go and play along, do what you usually do when you're here". I went down, but I kept looking behind. Suddenly I saw all of her clothes turned black and she somehow tried to capture the whole section of the ranch and my grandfather with the Darkness. When I ran back close to them, I was suddenly slowed down, I couldn't walk and all I could do was just watch the whole situation in horror.
Gosh, I sure got too obsessed with the whole Alan Wake story. I just finished episode 4. Anyone else dreamed anything similar? :hyper:

A night, I came across to a building(It somehow looked like a factory) with a spiral road leading to the ground floor. There were no lights. I had to run, because some monsters(or mutts) were after me. Something killed me, and I woke up peaceful.

I have a few reoccurring things in my dreams.
One really annoying one is that when ever I go into a elevator, the cable always snaps and I drop down infinitely.
I don't even have a elevator phobia, maybe I don't like them as much now than I used to, but I can still ride them.
U.F.O attack. I'm outside watching the stars and they seem extremely...vivid, present, I even see nebulaes and other crazy things. Then the stars start to gather together and move real fast. Then a saucer comes circle around our house and I run inside and go in the small cellar we have and wait for the aliens to come get me. After waiting a while, the floor boards above me just disperse. Not that they fall or eradicate, they are just gone for some reason. Then I see the aliens, they are green humanoids, tall and sharp teeth, they look like the fish that live in the deep oceans. I make a run outside after I've been found and all the people outside are turned into zombies and they are everywhere, they turn towards me and get me.
I've seen this one few times. It's amazing how similar it stays. Sometimes I know that this feels familiar, but I can't avoid what coming."sigh"
There's one, where a jet plane stalls above me and crashes few hundred meters away from me, the blast wave feels very real.
Then there's one, where the town where I live, that is flat, just fields, no mountains or anything, suddenly has turned into a beautiful mountain terrain. Deep green valleys and terrifying tall mountains. Then there is a white stone house (in the dream). after walking some time in the terrain. I get in the house and wake up, I never know what's in the house.
There's more reoccurring things, but I will tell about them later.

I believe dreams are your higher minds way of getting you to get in touch with beliefs/definitions that are out of alignment with who you truly are/prefer to be.
I have 3 - 4 dreams a night. I have had 11 self-induced out of body experiences and have at least 1 lucid dream a week.

just woke up, I try to wrote what I remember.
Me and my family are at home. There's russian military, or some protective body at our house, outside of our house. It felt like some mafia stuff and my father was some big guy that those guys needed to protect. They were holding a guy at gun point and my father told me this man is your age, or something like that.
I had my IPOD shuffle on me. I listened some music and I heard a american voice under the static saying something I can't remember anymore. Something like we are trying to locate or something and I try to tell someone, but I can't or wont.
Minutes later there's blood all over the yard, my grand mother is screaming and crying. The whole neighborhood, or atleast some relatives and vaguely familiar faces are at yard, cleaning up the blood.
There is snow out side cowered with blood and I start to move the snow in to the forest. No I asked my dad first, what to with it and he said we take it to the forest. points he finger and I see a big pile of snow in the forest.
I have a wheelbarrow and a small wooden box, I'm with my grandfather and some big head, bold guy. Loading the wheelbarrow. The wooden box had a nazi symbol, the swastika. I don't remember the conversation with my grandfather.
Then I vaguely remember another dream, where me and one of my friend are running really fast above the lake, like in Naruto or something. Then there's three big a$$ crocodiles chasing us.
And a good morning to you all!!

Just today I had a fantasy with magic dream.
I was(can't remember much details) in the space or in the cavern with flying rocks. I held a staff and opened a magical passage, which took me at the other side(just like how the electrical staircases take us to each floor in every mall). I turned around and saw the rocks flying as if I were trying to find a way out, and the moon, which was really beautiful and big. The sky was clear.
And I think it might be connected to an old dream I had some days ago.
Some days ago, I had another fantasy dream.
I did ride a black dragon in the sky. I was at that time in the mission of retrieving some stone. When I found that stone, I asked the dragon to land somewhere. A war was rampaging at these dark lands. These lands were full of shadow demons. I fought my way there to an old house. It was of the wooden walls, so I figured out that I was in the medieval era. There I found the stone, which glowed in the dark. I took it and fought my way back to the dragon to return to my mission's contractor to end it, however, when we were in the sky again, the dragon stopped responding, while he still flapped his wings. At that moment I was wondering of what happened to him. Some seconds later I saw him disappearing in front of me, while I was riding him. When the dragon disappeared completely, I felt down and screamed from fear. After that I woke up.
Well, I really liked those dreams. I wish I had the ability to lengthen my dreams so that I could see what would happen later.

More fantasy dreams in one day!!
The first was on a beautiful beach with a very clean sea. Inside of this sea there were a lot of colorful corals. It was so beautiful. The day was sunny and it was so hot. I swam there watching this magical place. When I dove, I noticed that I could breath underwater(dunno how).
The second was in another place. I was with some mates, who I do NOT know, at a Siberia-like place. Everyone swam there. It was so cold, yet I didn't feel any coldness in my body(I dunno that, too. If you guys are Russians, please, tell me why). Everyone enjoyed swimming in this cold water.
Here's the odd one, which wasn't a fantasy, but rather... a training dream!
I was in some gym place. I was training the rings(like this in the olympic races. I refer to this olympic race, which an olympian hung himself on the two hanged rings). I had almost a strong body, which helped me uphold this training, not only in two hands, but also in one.
Well, What's going on? o.o
It's like my ability to see them has been increased. o.o Maybe the heat did hit on me, while I slept the whole day.

She was saying things like "Two heads", and "Strange Smoke"... and so she - JUST BOOM - in my face, y'know? So i start to run in the streets, and everything was covered in blood red blood, it was horrible, and the smell... argh! Well, so i've found this strange girl, she was a kid - 7 years old? - and she was calling me... Everytime i was getting closer and closer, the dream become to disappear... walls, streets, buildings... everything just fade, and i wake up.

Here's another dream I see from time to time. I wonder if others have this dream.
So the dream is that I wake up from sleep and feel sleepy, heavy. I try to turn on the light, but the light doesn't work.
Now this has happened several times so by now I am aware that I am sleeping. Not just because the light doesn't turn on, but I feel really heavy, or it's this strange oppressive feeling.
Now I wanna wake up, because it's quite an unpleasant feeling, like something bad is gonna happen. I try to scream my self awake, but my voice is shut. I try the tricks that usually wake you up from sleep.
Then I start to run and scream and I slowly start to wake up.
Now I wonder if by some chance, I actually might one night awake from sleep and the light doesn't turn on, star screaming my self wake, even though I am awake.

A New Nightmare(No, it's not Alone in the Dark... it's Lovecraft lol)
I was at a small village somewhere very peaceful. Some guys helped me to escape at an underground passageway leading to the cave near the river without knowing what was going on. Along the way I heard screams that frightened me. They told me that some demons woke up.
I wondered what kind of demons woke up and what was going on. They couldn't say much about it. Only to run as fast as I could. When I left that cave, I found myself at a river with no tree around. It was night, when I left from this dark cavernous passageway. I noticed that all the houses were wooden and the citizens held some shotguns with them, so I thought it was around the 16th century, where the first shotguns were created.
To have me safe, I had to go with them at a deserted church, which seems deserted from the outside, but from the inside this church was under construction with the first construction staircase being set up. But, it was really strange for me to notice that from the outside it was night and from the inside it was morning.
Along with the companions I took the way upstairs to be safer till to the astral portal. When I climbed the stairs from the underground, I saw the citizens inside this church changing themselves to these demons. It shocked me and made me shit out from the horror and started running upstairs. Some of the demons caught me, but I kicked them to the ground floor.
I saw some of them melting the moment they touched the ground. It was the time when the first thought was born from me "Is this a holy place?".
I had no time to think or speak much more. I had to run upstairs. Some of the demons, who looked very like those of Wolfenstein, screamed in front of me to frighten me. They did well to frighten me and force me to kick them. From inside the church to the outside to the top of this deserted church I noticed a dimensional passageway, which was different than the one I crossed.
I then took this very way to save my ass. The hard part was the ceilling, where the dimensional passageway was visible. Since I had the hypsophobia, I had to look at the passageway to be sure not to fall down, and start walking as fast as I could.
The moment I touched the astral portal, the demons disappeared and I woke up.

Well in my case, not. I also can remember psychedelic and paranoid dreams. I even can remember nightmares like the one in the above post. I can even see in my dreams many creatures I have never seen in my life, such as the white horse being a furious one ready to attack into a hellish red horse filled with flames, which can attract lightnings from the sky, just like Ixion(Final Fantasy series).
Only a very few people can remember them clearly(not ALWAYS) like me.

My dreams are so messed up. I'm usually always being chased by monsters; I don't think I've ever had a normal dream. I tend to feel a lot of the things happening to; like being stabbed, shot and most times, I dream in faded colors. I used to post regularly on a website where you could feature them, and if you're curious, you can read some here (http://www.dreamjournal.net/journal/index.cfm?do=dreamlist&username=darko) but now I'm mostly just jotting them down in a journal.
I actually had a disturbing dream a couple nights ago in first person perspective where I was in Las Vegas with my cousin and we ended up in a "backlot" of sorts on the strip. So she takes lead and we end up by some fences. But after refusing to hop over the second fence, I find an open gate, enter it, see my cousin and chase after her.
Then I'm suddenly in some grungy surgery room, sitting in a chair, and unable to move. There's a little girl to my right watching me and some man approaches. He's speaking to me, but I can't understand a thing. Then he stabs me in the stomach (I felt it too) with a small device that looks like one of those tools nurses use for people afraid of needles. The man then connects a tube to the tool and suddenly I'm being drained of blood and it disappears through a hole in the wall.
The man doesn't drain me completely, but he sure takes a lot. Once he stops, he says something else I can't remember and walks away, planning on coming back. The entire time I can't move, the little girl keeps watching, and this all happens through my perspective.
Gosh, I sure got too obsessed with the whole Alan Wake story. I just finished episode 4. Anyone else dreamed anything similar? :hyper:
I've had an Alan Wake experience. I wasn't really dreaming when it happened, but one time I felt as if I were under the control of the Dark Presence. It was really surreal and I found myself writing sections of what was happening with my life, but with a dark twist. Crazy enough, when I predicted something happening, it actually happened. I saved what I'd written and looking back at it is pretty scary, but also pretty fascinating.

"I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up..."
Just kidding. :P But no, dreams are a great source of inspiration for concept art, at least I've found that...

I had a dream a few nights ago Where I was walking down a street and this man asked me If I wanted a free Xbox 360. I said Hell yeah, so I followed the man in this room little did I know it was a trap He knocked me out. As I awoke hours later I found a TV in front of me and an xbox was hooked up I looked to see what game was playing. It was Cebela's Survival Shadows of katmai. The horrors I saw I tried to escape this room I was trapped in but there was no way out. I literally slept with my lights on for a few weeks lol :D

Sorry, but this dream of one day this nation will rise up is true. I had this dream once some weeks ago, and I can still remember it.
I don't know where, but I saw in the plateau some hooligans(probably the Neo-Nazis of Golden Dawn) rioting against the cops. I was standing at a cafeteria trying to avoid this riot, while watching them...
I'm sure it WILL happen in the near future.

Lately I'm dreaming a lot of 2D animation dreams.
First I saw a black-whitey cat-person, just like the Solatorobo. Then, I saw a very fat man dancing with a lil chick on the thin wall. And many more I can't remember or ignored writing them. Maybe the more RPGing influenced me to these anime dreams. lol
I'm waiting for the horror dreams to come back, so that I can finish the godamn novel.

I saw a social dream, and I don't know wtf did I see... Was it a double dream or wat?
The day was a rainy one. I was in the bus with my kendo stuff returning back from a long trip. I asked the driver if he could get me to the station, so that I could return to my housetown. The driver said that it's a bit far, so I slept.
When I slept, I saw a lot of chicks I don't know celebrating my B-day(WTF?) and chanting the "Happy Birthday" psalm in the very same bus! When the song finished, I put the candles off with a blow, however 2 of the 3 candles weren't put off and I kept blowing till they stopped being lit. When the candles finally were put off, I woke up at the same bus seat and asked the driver for the station. He said if I wanted, he could take me there voluntarily. I agreed, and then he took me there.
After that I woke up.

I saw just a while ago a fantasy medieval world.
I was at a village trying to help the villagers. The epidemia arose and has infected the villagers. They were in grave risk of dying. The knight soldiers were asked to hold the martial law in action and to seal the gates, so nobody would go out, while the monsters of the darkness roam outside at the swamp.
While the high-ranked soldiers decided to go out to seek help from the neighbour villages and cities, I also decided to try defeating the monsters of the darkness. Along in the path, a mysterious shadow of an old man popped out in front of me giving me a very remedious suggestion to help the villagers. "Seek the Crystal of Light, if you wish to heal those you love and respect. Only this crystal can banish the monsters from this world", he said. "Where can I find this crystal you speak of?", I asked him. "A day of walk at this direction, there's a tower, where the Crystal of Light resides. Go to this direction and you'll find it at the top of this tower", he answered me, while he pointed his finger to this particular direction.
The old man disappeared from my sight and I decided to equip myself and pack some useful stuff before leaving, however, the 2 of the highest-ranked soldiers suggested me not to go. I told them about it, but regardless of that, they told me not to go, because they think I'm unable to do anything, as if I was some disabled person.
The night, while nobody saw me, I escaped from this village to find this Crystal of Light the old man told me. I took this direction to seek it.
Finally, after a day's walk the tower the old man described me has been grasped in my vision.
But, the highest-ranked knight soldiers found me and said to stop, however, I tried to get away from them. It wasn't enough for me to fight the monsters of the darkness at the swamp. I had also to deal with these idiots, so that I could bring the Crystal of Light back at my village.
Those guys insisted to arrest me, but I found a way to pass through them and enter this tower. They almost got me, but I caught up to the door and sealed this door behind me. This door was already open, so to be safe from both sides, the soldiers and the monsters at the swamp, I had to seal this door.
After that I woke up.

Two days ago I had a futuristic dream.
It was a sunny morning in the icicle castle. I didn't know what was going on, but there was a riot with everyone wearing punky clothes fighting each other, including me. In this mess I found a way to get away from them and got outside. Some of them were still behind me trying to catch me, but I was far away.
Just like Mirror's Edge, I could jump and climb any ice. I knew the ice was sloppy, but I didn't know how did I do it. When I climbed a quite high ice, I was temporarily safe. After a while I saw 3 alien guards being after me with their guns. I knocked down one, but the other two were still after me. I had no choice than to enter this cavern, where it was below the huge icicle castle. The aliens stopped chasing after me. I didn't know why, but I woke up afterwards.
I wonder... Why am I waking up, when I'm really safe in the dream?

Just a while ago, I saw a fantastic dream I loved so much and it DID fit for the summer!
I was somewhere at the beach. The water was so clean and the wind was so fresh. The beach was surrounded by big rocks. At first a fisherman did let me ride the dolphinray(a combination of a dolphin and a devil ray). This unique animal not only could swim so fast as it usually does, but it also could... FLY! Its back was black(the color of the devil ray) and hairy, but its chest was gray(the color of the dolphin). What's more, it was soft on its back, I could sit upon it! The fisherman taugh me how to solo ride it just before I enter this dreamy world, so I knew how to ride it. It was like how you ride a horse.
The most unique sea transportation was the wooden boat upon the huge adult dolphinray with wings attached on the boat. The very same fisherman was teaching me how to ride this unique carrier. At first I had difficulty with the wings, but I got the idea of how it worked. When it flied, it was so hard controlling the wings due of the wind. I could control the wings with the attached ropes. The fisherman was behind me and sat, while watching and teaching me.
After a while the sun started to set and the fisherman told me "As the final test, I want to see you how you can ride it, while we return back to the beach. It's time we returned back."
Just after that, I rode it a bit more before waking up, while returning us back to the beach.
I liked this dream soooooooo much!

Had a series of nightmares all through the night. Covered in sweat. The overall feel of the sleep was failure. Can't remember details much, I wish I did.
The only thing I can remember aside the feeling of failure, was that there was this empty circular auditorium and in the center of the room there was a typewriter. When I tried typing on the writer, the text that would come out was something like this. Asldhabvah afbsduifsb nboutr. Nonsensical jibber-jabber. Oh and the typewriter had laptop keys instead of the cool round shape metal key thingies.
Again, I wish I'd remeber more than that, but that's just how these things go.

2 days ago, I saw a survival horror nightmare, and it was a brand new one.
I was in one of the two towers in Hell. 2 demons chased me at the staircases leading below to the ground floor. I was trying to lose them by speeding down the staircase. A while later, I was found myself in front of the 2nd tower. There was no alternate way than leading itself to the 2nd tower. The first was stuck in the mountain, as if some dwarf built this tower for security reasons. The 2nd was built some meters away from the first one in the open. I rushed there and climbed up the staircase to get away from them.
And another fantasy place I saw...in another dream.
I was at some house's garden. There resided a bug-demon. He was a combination of a human and a bug. I was trying to kill him with a hammer(like those to hit the nails). He mocked me by avoiding me. He had a supernatural speed, which I couldn't catch up. I remembered that he said "There my uncle used to be. He was killed by your kin." He also insulted me by telling me "Slowww...", "You can't hit me!", etc... I was really furious and tried to hit him with all my might and courage.
After a while from both dreams, I woke up.

Probably that half human part was an ugly reflection of your last opponent in Kendo, eh? I'm sure you could scare his bug-arse away with a KIAI!

Maybe, but I haven't trained in Kendo for 3 months, due of my job. ^^ It could be the reflection of myself. Since I have the ability to see the very same dream or nightmare 2-3 times, I might see him and gonna try killing him via my mind.
