Usually I would put this sort of thing in the Gallery but since they are fairly blurry (since they were just photos taken of the demo) I'll have them here :)
I want to thank AutoPilot for taking the pics and for Remedy for letting him take them for this site!
This is a World Exclusive, you won't see this anywhere else!
Enjoy!

Wait a second, I need to pick up my jaw, it should be somewhere on the floor under my table...
Still, a lot blurry though
Wait, if there are screencaps why not a cam video of the presentation? Looks very nice from those screencaps as well though blurry.

Hopefullly we will get a video of the presentation, but there were no camera's allowed in the room (so we are very lucky to even have this sort of thing), so it's all up to Remedy for the rest.

Alright, we go some GTA action here in AW. But it looks like there will be no one to run over.
Purty pictures though.

It just doesn't get any better than this. Outstanding. It's a shame that the images are in such a bad shape. We want 1024-768 screens! :)

Is that not the best CG water you've ever seen.

No doubt...the water looks even better in motion. I believe it's the best I've seen in a game since Half-Life 2. Alan Wake's water didn't seem to tile as noticeable as HL2's as well.

I saw some Lost Coast footage and the water looked really nice.
Although I will never forget when I stepped off the boat in Morrowind. That was the best water effects that I had seen. But that was during its time.

First game to use shaders for water if I remember correctly.

Heh, you guys just talk about water :p
Even though the quality of the screencaps is not perfect, It already gives a hint on what the final thing will be, and what the gameplay will be like...
I'd say this game will be a mix of many people favourit games, I wont say names because everyone knows what I'm talkign about, this game will pwn lots of asses! :P
Concerning the water, It will be totaly dinamic, and will afected by the weather (wind)
So, It will be better than HL2, Far Cry, or any other game that tryed to recriate water! :P

Looks really, really, really good! Oh boy! I just can't wait! I have downloaded a lot of games, but I promise - this game, I will buy! Like I did, for example, Half - Life 2 and Deus Ex :) The weather effects look like something else! I wonder if one can go to every house in AW? Probably not.
those screenshots looks nice :)

Man, for that great lighting that casts off the water, you better be able to make good use of it, like swimming above and under the water.

I liked water in FarCry, especially when it reflects the full moon at night.

I think Remedy did it so well because the water is connected to the story. At least with the lighthouse.

Blurry is better than none, Thanks ADoomedMarine :)
The best blurry screen is the station wagon from behind, I set it as my wallpaper.

Okey, so that was a playable demo(not for the public of course). Does that mean that there will be possible to expect a demo to the PC and/or Xbox 360?
I'm sure we'll see a playable demo when the time is right. Remedy won't let their fans down. :p
Hmm, just noticed these now, some nice little details here and there, like I noticed some driftwood on the beach in picture 1, the fog-clouds-wind-time caption in picture 4, and what are those things with the red things in pic 9?

Are there any signs of human beings in Bright Fall except Alan...? I think i can see a car or two :sherlock:

Hey, that stuff is more than a year old.

This post may be old, but no video wasn't shown about this demo. What exactly was the demo about, and from the looks from it, they acomplished a lot in that demo 2 years ago. I understand lots of things changed now, but is it possible a video will be released of this e3 tech demo. It has been 2 years now.

It wasn't a video it was a playthrough of it controlled by Remedy. As such I doubt there was any footage recorded from it and even if there was Remedy wouldn't release footage that's even older than the last media they released.
