View Full Version : DLC Error Code 80004005 and glitched achievments

Okay, first off, when I go to the DLC (I already got the code, it gives me the Status code: 80004005) It doesn't do this for any other DLC and friends who live in the same area already downloaded it. Also; I have 14/14 tvs 11/11 radios 30/30 chests, etc etc for all items and I still haven't gotten the achievements yet. And I know there are a lot of issues with the DLC since it just came out but any info would be appreciated. Thanks. :love:

Hi Jill you will need to contact Xbox Support for your DLC issue. As for the achievements that's a known issue (http://forum.alanwake.com/showthread.php?t=3670).

Error 80004005 is an issue relating to the server being unavailable for several reasons. I was getting this up until 5 minutes ago. Keep trying :)

Actually, I used the code, and all I got from it was a crappy preview video.
And I tried everything in the glitched achiev thread and nothing works. The only way to fix it would probably get you banned as well.

Well, if you used the code before the content was released, Microsoft will e-mail you a new code. Make sure your Xbox LIVE profile has your current e-mail address in it.

Thanks, but I used the code that I got emailed; they both gave the video and no playable DLC.

Oh, okay, I'm sorry, I didn't realize that. All right, in that case I think you should talk to Xbox LIVE customer support about this, since they were the ones who sent you the second code.

Just keep your fingers crossed for a patch. Please, somebody from Remedy, can you confirm that the known issues re: achievements will be patched? Please?
