Havnt been sent dlc email is it because i bought the new xbox

i come home today hoping to recieve my email and play the new episode of alan wake that ive been waiting to play for ages and havnt recieved my email im absolutly GUTTED and all the people on my friends list have played it or completed it. I still have my code but it says it has been redeemed (obviously when i redeemed it the day i bought alan wake and was told that i would recieve an email) is this because i have transfered everything from my old xbox to my new 1 if not what should i do next.
IM EAGER TO COMPLETE THE NEW EPISODE.

You should receive an email from Microsoft within the next 24 - 48 hours to the address assigned to your Xbox Live gamertag. Switching to the new Xbox does not affect anything :)
