Hi,

Since the DLC came out, I can change the options in the game as much as I want (enable commentary, disable or enable subtitles), unfortunatly as much as I'd like those options to stay at whatever I set them to when I restart the game, they just go back to the values I had them at before I installed the dlc.

My "default" settings are subtitles off, commentary on, and no matter how many times I change this, whenever I turn the game back on it goes back to these settings.

I might have a theory what is going on, but since it's the weekend I can't test this myself.

If you load the main game and then change your settings, return to the game from the menu (you should see the saving icon) and then restart the game will this fix the issue?

The DLC save file and the main game save file are different files, so you should be able to continue the DLC just fine after trying this.

Hold on, so you want me to boot up the game, change options in menu before resuming a save, play some, quit to menu, restart?

I tried a few options like that before I posted. I changed in the game menu, that didn't stick, I changed in the main menu then played, that didn't stick.

No matter what options I select or how I select them, nothing sticks. Granted I've only changed them while playing the main game, maybe if I change them and then boot the dlc it'll work?

Basically it should just work. The settings are saved to your profile and if that is not possible (the profile cannot be written all the time) they are saved first locally to a save game and when we are able to write to the profile the local copies are removed.
Note that the settings are saved only when the menu is closed. You should see the saving icon then.
Unfortunately I don't know what exactly has gone wrong in your case so I'm just guessing here what to do.
You might want to try using all save games and changing settings from the pause menu.
The last resort would be to remove all your AW save games from the Dashboard.

I'll try a few more things, if you want I can make a video of myself showing the problem and post it on youtube and link it.

Okay with the addition of the new DLC the problem has gone away. Before DLC2 came out I was not getting the little circle thing when I changed options in the main menu. I thought maybe I might have a better chance getting the data to save in the menu while playing the latest Episode, (since I knew the saves for the main game, DLC1, and DLC2 were seperate) and it worked when playing The Writer (I got the little swirly thing). When I restarted and rebooted the game, video commentary remained off.
