I'm looking for a website which is supposed to be an online portfolio of a finnish mapper who was hired in your company quite lately. As far as I remember, his online portfolio consisted of screenshots of a jaw dropping UT map (night time, with trees like that of AW), and also consisted screenshots of a jaw-dropping Doom3 map which was very "concrete-ish". The link was posted in one of the threads in 3drealms forum by one of the RMD staff only.
Actually I want to recheck those screenshots for study and inspiration purpose. Please help me find it out.
Regards,

OMG OMG ... YES YES .... that's the one.:hyper:
/me kisses Sentinel in excitement.:giggle:
And I used Google too. But since I forgot about the "blade runner" factor, I couldn't find any. Also nowhere is it mentioned in written form that he's employed in RMD. So maybe the search engine didn't have anything like that to show.:o
But anyways, that's real big help man.
And if by any chance "Hennu" is seeing this, "You are one of the finest talent I had seen".:p

Skaven confirmed that he is employed there in the 3DR thread that shows up in Google.

If Doom3 had a better/state-of-the-art (as for now) lighting model, those D3 shots would have looked almost real-life.
@ Hennu/SamiV:
Is there a way Hennu might release that Doom3 map? (no matter how small it is). :)

Hello Satan.
I'm sorry that it has taken so long for me to post an answer.
I have been very busy working on Alan Wake.
Thanks for your positive comments concerning my work.
It feels like ages since I was pushing polys with UnrealEd or Radiant.
To be honest, I probably won't even remember how to use those
applications anymore.
(Was it even possible to change geometry by modifying polys in UnrealEd?) ;)
That Doom3 level was never actually finished and that's why I didn't
feel like releasing it. Anyways maybe I could send it for you personally
if you want to study it and IF I manage to find it from somewhere.

Hehhe ...... I like your spirit ..... just as it should be. :)
And yeah, that would be really great IF you could REALLY find that map, the textures and the mapmodels you made for that scene. :D
Basically I'm trying to be an environment artist here, and your work (as I see) is ideal to be a sub-subject to study. :P
