I have two XBOX 360s in my house due to having small kids and not being able to play all games in front of them. I run my XBOX Live account from a USB drive. I make sure all DLC I install is on both machines, and the saved games and profile are run from my drive.

I downloaded the Signal on one of them a long time ago, and The Writer on the other.

I started an Alan Wake campaign through "The Signal" and got pretty far into it, and now it tells me that it is corrupted. The same is true with "The Writer" on the other XBOX.

I have used the process described all over the web for this - deleting, downloading, resetting, multiple times and it is still requiring me to re-download the DLC content every time I start the game.

Ultimately, the DLC content is only working on the XBOX it was downloaded on - The Signal on my old one and The Writer on the newer XBOX. I am using the same XBOX Live profile to access all of it. Is Remedy going to provide a fix for this? Thanks.

Well, it should be fixed by doing the whole re-downloading thing (I know you've done that, but that's still supposed to fix it). I've also heard that clearing the Xbox 360's cache may help. If neither of these methods work, though, I doubt there's anything we can do. I think the problem really is that you keep switching back and forth between the two consoles; I'd guess that that kind of use wasn't what the designers had in mind... This has to do with the way Xbox LIVE deals with downloaded content, which really isn't something we control.

Your case is a little unusual, and I'll have one of our tech guys (which I'm decidedly not!) take a look at this, but based on prior discussions about this, it probably isn't something we can do anything about.

Sounds about the same as http://forum.alanwake.com/showthread.php?t=6059 - if problems persist after what Mikki said above, I would contact MS support.

The problem is that when you download DLC, a license to use that content is created and stored on the Xbox the content was downloaded with. This makes it, I believe, impossible to switch DLC back and forth.

You'd have to download both onto each console individually.
