Thermoses. The Most Annoying Collectible.

I really liked to collect the thermoses at first, but later on it got a bit annoying.
Then, when I completed the game, I looked at the statics and expected at least 85/100 thermoses, but sadly only 27.

And today after 6 months of searching I found the last one on Episode 2 (SPOILER ALERT) after the encounter with Mott. I was so proud that I even documented it with my camera. After getting the "Hypercaffinated" achievement I had them all.

I felt really proud, since the only other game that I had all achievements on was TMNT.

I felt really proud, too! And yes the coffee thermos are the most annoying collectibles after the script pages

Yeah, with both. I mean, sometimes you have to go out of your way to find them. Like the coffee thermos in (SPOILER ALERT) next to the light house while being chased by the Taken in your dreams. It almost caught up with me. I was high-strung from that part afterwards, actually. :hyper:

LOL I died so many times trying to find the thermos just for the sake of finding them XD

yeah i missed one of the ones when you are driving around at night heading to the farm. i think there was two both next to two identical but different blue tractors and i never whent looking for the other thinking i was just getting turned around when id see it in the distance.

Whent through the whole game like 4 times looking for that bugger.

Honestly i wondered if they are a leftover from the original sandbox game where the darkness was alans nightmares and he was trying to stay a.wake (phnarr-phnarr) so maybe originally you had to find coffee thermoses to keep him awake and running fast and healing fast instead of the safe havens maybe? who knows.

Wait till you only need one in the entire game dude. even with a guide the only way is to check through the whole thing again.
