Help with original DLC Code

I bought Alan Wake when it first came out and used the code after I was told to by a friend. I downloaded the video it gave me and it told me to wait and I would get an message containing another code to download The Signal when it came out but I never got that message. I just bought the second Dlc and was hoping there was a way I could get the first with my code. I talked to microsoft and they told me to call remedy, so is there a way I can get my code to work?

Microsoft should have sent you a replacement code as they were handling that. In any case, please send an email to community@remedygames.com with a copy of your original receipt and a photo of your copy of the game and I will be able to issue you with a new code.

I don't have my receipt anymore all I have is the box and code is there any way to do it with just that stuff?
