Force Close on iPad 1 running iOS 4.3.1

Hi

I've just downloaded Death Rally last week (after it went on sale) & I've not been able to play this game at all. When i launched it the first time, the opening sequence with the cops played out just fine, followed by the comic cutscene leading up to the menu. But when I started any of the beginner level races, I got the opening screen with the starting lineup & the on screen controls after which the screen went blank & I was back at the home screen of my iPad. The game was still there in my multitasking tray so I reloaded it (without restarting it) & this time it went blank as soon as I started the race (it didn't get to the starting lineup).

I restarted the game and tried again. Same result. I restarted my iPad and tried again. Same result. Is this a known bug? And is it going to be resolved?

I'm running an iPad 1 64GB Wi-Fi on iOS 4.3.1.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's unfortunate that you are having problems, dontpanic. My first suggestion would be to make sure you are running the latest iOS update, which is 4.3.3. Hopefully that will fix your issues.

However in the hopes that we can get rid of these crashes the best thing to do is sync your device to your computer so the crash logs can be sent through Apple to us. This way we are able to understand exactly what is causing the crash on your device!

I am running Death Rally on iPad 1 running 4.3.3. I am 1 603 478 FAME and 148% Player but since the last update I can play any maps. I can go to the garage etc but once I click on a map to play it crashes.

We think we've located one crash problem that could cause this and have fixed it for the next update. We are also improving our QA process for future updates. Apologies for the inconvenience.
