Remedy have actually stated weeks back that theyd like to get it on PC at some point. For now, one step at a time :)

I mentioned it in other thread.
But of course it will come sooner or later.

Well i was extremely sceptic on the possibility of American Nightmare to ever be released on PC due to Microsoft publishing (correct me if I'm wrong) the game on their platform.
And American Nightmare is shaping to be an excellent spin-off and i was planning on buying it for 360 but if there's a PC version down the line....
That would be seriously amazing. The problem is...It might be VERY long before it hits PCs. :(

I am pretty sure it will come to PC after some predefined exclusivity period (say 3 or 6 months).
MY SPECULATION, MS released the publishing rights back to Remedy for AW1 to allow for PC release on the basis of the (timed?) AWAN release exclusivity.

Could happen but i dare say MS have it exclusive to 360 for atleast 6 months maybe a year.

Well, for American Nightmare to hit PC, it would be reasonable to be solely on Steam, since it's less than 2GB. :) If it happens, I'd better wait for the PC edition... ^^

Damn i hope SO MUCH that Microsoft will allow them to port American Nightmare on PC.
I keep reading the Rock Paper Shotgun interview, this does not outright confirm that it will come to PC at some point but it does keep hope alive.

Man I'm so sick and tired of these so called 360 exclusives... most of them get a PC release and everybody knows about it, expects them to come out on PC sooner or later. It's like a bad joke that's been told too many times.

As someone who gave up on the xbox a while ago I REALLY am hoping for a pc release. I just re-bought the game on steam (despite my several playthroughs on the 360) and am loving it all over. I can't express how much I want American Nightmare on pc ASAP.

Just finished the the game and its DLCs earlier tonight on the Steam version. Really amazing game, worth the wait from the 360 version. I really hope that AWAN and the series in general will continue to be released on Steam. I'd hate to miss out on the story, I don't see myself getting a 360 anytime soon.

I doubt it, because they stated that they can't port it in Mac OS. Simply put, they don't have any Apple stuff(Macintosh stuff, to be precise). I questioned about it a while ago. They couldn't port Alan Wake 1 to MAC OS, so I doubt it will happen for AWAN.

Another Big Reminder from Remedy (http://pc.gamespy.com/pc/remedy-project-next-gen-title/1219170p1.html?RSSwhen2012-02-21_165000&RSSid=1219170&utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+gsfeeds%2Fall+%28GameSpy+Comp lete%29) that they fully intent on bringing Alan Wake's american Nightmare to the PC. If not now then surely it'll happen in the very near future :) i can guarrentee that !

Well, it does not confirm a PC version but at least there is hope.
I guess releasing a game on the XBLA includes some sort of exclusivity. If AN ever comes to the PC, it will happen in 6 months. :(

Unless Remedy are presented a daunting task like 2 years ago, asking M$ to release it on PC time after time then it could take long. But i can assure you that it's their every intent to bring it to PC trust me. It's mostly guarrented that it'll come following the success of AW PC and Remedy's PC gaming Heritage 6 months isn't that long btw.

Remdey should have Never choosed Micorosft for their publisher. If Remedy had another publisher who supports and cares about pc gaming like THQ, EA, Bethesda e.t.c. then pc version of both Alan wake games would have been released at the same time and not later. it was Remedy fault who chossed them for their publisher! GRRRRR!!
thebestbit

And if it was EA/THQ you would need to buy most the game via DLC and Bethesda would have had it released at an unfinished state.
Its not just Remedys games that launch first on console then PC and its not just MS that causes that.
No publisher is perfect and MS main focus in gaming right now is XBox and who can blame them? It makes them a crap load of money.
XBLA made over 90Million alone last year.
Also AW PC sales shows that PC gamers will still support Remedy even with a delay.[Dont get me wrong MS should show them some love]
