Cannot Leave Power Yard at the Drive In

I got the power turned on at the drive in but now I can't leave the yard. The gates I came in are closed and there doesn't seem to be any way to open it. I was fighting taken while I used the key to open it on the wat in and wonder if there is a bug that allows them to stay closed? Any help appreciated.
