will it be possible to play the game on a traditional 50hz tv?

If you can play your Xbox360 on a 50hz TV, then I don't see any reason why you shouldn't be able to play Alan Wake.

there are games that are expressly developed for 60hz televisions, like Hitman:blood money, Pro evolution soccer 6, Dead or alive 4....

They work, but your tv runs the risk of exploding after 3 hours and 46 minutes of playing.

Yeah, it'll actually explode a lot quicker than that. ;)
