I have been working lately data and internet security things.
We got a school duty to planning some company's data security.
We can imagine our own attempt or pick up some already in existence.

So,i decide planning data security of Remedy entertainment.

I would be grateful,if some guy of Remedy's can answer and tell a little about Remedys data securing, give me little tips of my school duty?
I bet, these days data security is important part of any company.

Example some hackers break in Valve's computers and stolen source code of Half Life 2 and it ruins whole game project.

And when Alan Wake is so expensive,i bet there is tight security protecting game project, all its tools and other business secrets.

Im just guessing here... But first of all security is something nobody really wants to talk to foreigners.

Lets say You get a call asking about your server hardware and software... Would you answer, probably not!

Then this guy calls and ask about your cisco firewalls and switches and so on.. Hey come one, no one will give you that info.

If I were working in a gaming company, i would certainly have different network(with no internet access) for game development environment and another one with access to intranet, mail servers, ssh and couple of other services allowed in the firewall/AV-products.

The tricky part is to transfer data over the globe to lets say microsoft. Data needs to be encrypted, the network traffic needs to be encrypted and you will have to have high-security indentification system in the between.
