    Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Ymm it almost sounds like yogibbear has something against Bethesda.
I think it looks very nice. Graphics looks improved, thou they are not still stunning. But easily nice enough for me!

I am one of those that absolutely loved Oblivion. I am more or less expecting to love Skyrim (of course, there is no safety net...).

Yes character animations look improved over Oblivion but compared to EVERYTHING ELSE they still look crap. Plus I have dragon overload so i'm actually not interested despite dragons being awesome (DKS + DA overload). So..... i'm still not hyped. Of course I'm still going to be likely buying it... but don't expect it to rock your world. Bethesda are good at selling crap products wrapped up in hyped up wrappers.

That's creepy. Way worse than the MGS4 launch 'stache growers.

Anyway, I'm glad I'm not in junior college anymore; I wouldn't be able to contain my anger at all of the Dragon calls or whatever that are bound to be yelled from the cafeteria's nerd corner.

Man you guys are too easy to please. Game is completely dumbed down. 3 stats... sigh. It's a hack n' slash. Confirmed. I didn't think it was possible to dumb TES down further than what Oblivion did, but it looks like they've done it.

Well, I don't think 3 stats is going to ruin the game. Sure it's a bit unusual and some hardcore players like to have a million differen things to tweak(like back in the dark D&D times), but more stats does not automatically mean better experience. For me all that tweaking makes it feel like grinding, which is about as fun as looking paint to dry on a wall.
