Re: What movie/tv show did you last see?
American Reunion.
I think they did the best they could since there is a nine year gap between the third movie and this one. I think it was pretty much a good movie for fans, but it wouldn't do much for those who haven't seen the first three of the actual franchise, and it wouldn't do much for anyone who doesn't like American Pie in general. |

I haven't actually seen Lockout yet, but Escape From New York was one of my favorite movies as a kid, so I'm a little bit excited to see it. |

Great way to some it up. I usually hate over-hyped things and I was "forced" to see it but I thought it was good. Could've been better but could have been MUCH worse.

Re: What movie/tv show did you last see?
Just watched Solomon and Sheba on netflix. I love these 1950's historical epics, the classy yet cheesy dialog, set and costume design, the G-rated battle sequences.

An irish cop-buddy-movie starring Brendan Gleeson and Don Cheadle. Definitely worth watching. |

The Avengers -
Seen this twice now and keep loving every minute of it. If you guys haven't seen it then stop reading and just go! I will most likely go watch it again next week. Dark Shadows - Not too bad. A pretty cool take on an old-school vampire thrown into modern day-ish (and by that I mean from 1770 into 1970) society. Worth a watch at least but nothing stands out and I wouldn't care to rewatch it. I'm on the Twitters! @sidetwo |

The Avengers
Just saw it yesterday and I can't wait to see it again. They really got it right. They honored the spirit of the comic books for fans, but were also able to allow non-readers to catch up just fine. Great action, great dialogue, a surprisingly good amount of comedy, and awesome performances from everyone. Avoid fruit and nuts; after all, you are what you eat. -Garfield the Cat |

God Bless America. Great movie about sick society in the states. Too bad there wasn't much about today's main problem - social networks where people with no life live

Re: What movie/tv show did you last see?
I've been watching this with my friend who has HBO, so I'm seeing that episode this Sunday- I can't wait! Apparently that episode had a bigger budget than most tv show get in a season. Really proud with the justice HBO has done to a terrific series.
I've been watching Darkplace lately. So good, it's bad, it's good. A peculiar kind of humour but one of my favourites. <---Alan's OTHER Biggest Fan. Now with less 'hick'! |

Re: What movie/tv show did you last see?
Budget for this season was between $80-90M. Not sure how much was on the battle but the producers had to beg HBO to give them the money to do it other wise it would have all happened off screen.
A little tease for when the epicness starts[not really a big spoiler but i suggest watching with the volume up when you watch the episode to really get the blood flowing] Edit just dont watch when the vid ends because it shows some other scenes for you to click on.

Re: What movie/tv show did you last see?
Game of Thrones Season 2 was AMAZING. Cannot wait for Season 3.
In other news... in the last month I somehow managed to watch all 4 seasons, 2 movies, and 16+ webisodes of Battlestar Galactica. Somehow I managed to avoid this show and only watch a couple of episodes here and there never getting into it. Have to say it blew me away with how awesome it was! Absolutely stunning political/drama set in space. Actual sci-fi that I just watched was Sunshine which was awesome. Definitely up there with some of the best sci-fi I've seen. Which means I'm rating it up there with 2001, Alien, Bladerunner etc. Sarah Breaker > Barry Wheeler. Yep, I went there! |

Prometheus... It was good. 7-9/10 depending on my mood... though I only just walked out of the cinema ~20 mins ago so.... my thoughts may change. Hence the range. Nothing was... bad. I blame myself! AHRGAHRGAHRGAHRGHAGRHARHGARGr.

Re: What movie/tv show did you last see?
Last film I saw was Brave. Great story, if a bit unexpected. The last TV show I watched was a new one called Longmire. It's a cop show, but with a Western theme, since it takes place in Wyoming. Very good.

Re: What movie/tv show did you last see?
My brother and I have been going through all of the Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood episodes via Netflix (and now online since Netflix only has the first third or so). First time we've seen it (including the rest of the franchise). It's such a good show and it reminds me of my relationship with my brother.
The last film I saw in theaters was Snow White and the Huntsman, which was surprisingly better than the disappointing film Prometheus. |

OZ series.
I bought the DVDs, watched one episode and I was hooked on. It's murky, dirty and amazing. One thing I really like about it is there are no superheroes around. Every character you like may be killed and put aside. Origami models on my YouTube: GeneTheWinter |

Dark Knight Rises. I had my doubts, but despite the movie being quite exactly like I imagined it (as far as the story went), it did fulfill my expectations. I liked it, a lot.
