Hmm.. Just analyzed this a little bit.. Looks like Rusty has a broken leg just like the script said! No wonder that this will be awarded for best adventure game at E3 by many sites (or even nominated).

And Alan Wake has this certain theme sound (one that plays at the end of every new trailer).
It can also be heard in gameplay presenation.

Seems that majority of people are not interested in Alan Wake right now...

Those screens appear in the background of menus like Videos and so on.. 1 of 3 doesn't relate to the background image, it is for the interface. So it was probably an options screen and that was page 1.

I'm not near my 360 so I can't check.

Looks like the eurogamer one pretty much answers my question:

Poor Claudine, she screwed it up a bit: "While Alan Wake is no free-roaming sandbox game, the vast expanses of Bright Fall’s forest are realised with such detail and zeal that the sheer scope of the game almost makes you forget you’re playing a linear adventure title."
