www.alanwake.com is linking to this site. Either they can't be bothered with their own forums or they are trying to promote this one.

They've also updated their site with some "buzz".

Good stuff, either way

I remember someone even say that he does his best to promote this site, but don't remember who and where it was.

The same thing happened with both my fansites - they were more popular and the corresponding websites updated more than the official ones by the devs. In the end, the devs closed theirs and linked directly to mine. It frees up the devs' time, and welded good faith between them and the fans. Only problem will be, of course, when there are other Alan Wake fansites who will be less than happy at the favouritism (there were no other major fansites competing against mine, but I presume this will not be the case for Alan Wake

).
