We've just announced the Alan Wake LCE for Xbox 360.

Hardbound in quality linen, the Limited Collector’s edition is designed to resemble a hardcover book. The pack will include:

Game Disc in box with unique art
Exclusive In-Game Audio Commentary and Hints by Remedy
“The Alan Wake Files” – a 144pg book that includes a short story written by Alan Wake and compiles the FBI dossiers investigating the events in Bright Falls, WA
Exclusive Audio Disc with Soundtrack and Score
Game Add-on token redeemable on Xbox LIVE for the first Alan Wake add-on content pack
Exclusive Xbox disc with special content: Alan Wake Xbox Live Theme and Alan Wake Avatar for Xbox LIVE

Yeah well, the game is "preorderable" on amazon, but It's way too cheap imo, like on play.com is 65€ and on amazon.co.uk is not even 50€

Not too sure about this one to be honest. Your best bet is to contact them and ask them if they honor the pre-order bonus.

Yep really exciting times but very busy and hectic as well, I don't think it's hit me yet that we're this close to release! Though I'm sure you'll be experiencing something similar soon with Crysis 2 eh? How's working at Crytek going for you?

Though I'm glad you get that feeling as well, it was always my aim to recreate the atmospher of the old MP modding days!

This is awesome, I just need two things clarified if you would please.

1). The U.S. release date for the normal edition of Alan Wake is May 18th. According to Walmart & Bestbuy the limited collectors edition does not arrive until the 25th of May. BestBuy.com link|Walmart.com link. Does this mean we'll have to wait a whole week after release for the collectors edition, or is this simply just a listing error?

Kitt not to be Johnny RainCloud here but Limited Editions usually runs out of stock even before the game comes out. There is probably no way, that you'll find a Limited Edition in August. For example the Mass Effect 2 Limited Edition ran out of stock a month before the game came out and I'm sure that the Alan Wake Limited Edition will also ran out of stock before release.

My opinion; you better open an account and start a help Kitt Charity right now if you really want that Limited Edition.

I've already sent out twenty-three resumes to various shops, and am currently pestering my dad about various tasks I could do for cash, including (but not limited to):

I know how you feel, Kitt. I'm also in a pretty small area where no one seems to be hiring and I don't drive(don't, not can't. long story) and the bigger city is a good 20-30 min away. Kinda sucks activly looking for a job and not getting a single call back, even from places i'm beyond qualified for, only because they don't need anyone. Luckily I have alternate(legal) ways to make money so I manage to scrape by somehow.

My mental goal is to somehow manage to get an HDTV by the time wake comes out too. Hopefully I can actually do it. lol

I'm really excited about the CE but there are two thinks that I don't like about it.

1- I'm really missing an artbook. All these years should deserved one

2- The cover seems to be plastic, and that would be horrible, it breaks easily

The collerctors edition looks great. It may even be one of the few that are worth the money.

I'm also in a pretty small area where no one seems to be hiring and I don't drive(don't, not can't. long story) and the bigger city is a good 20-30 min away. Kinda sucks activly looking for a job and not getting a single call back, even from places i'm beyond qualified for, only because they don't need anyone. Luckily I have alternate(legal) ways to make money so I manage to scrape by somehow. My mental goal is to somehow manage to get an HDTV by the time wake comes out too. Edit: I guess I am a tiny bit dissapointed about not seeing a keychain flashlight in there, or a piece of a rollercoaster... In all honesty I don't really know where the rollercoaster thing came from, but I just really want one now. Anyway, back to being giddy. After many attempts to write a witty signature, most involving puns on the title "A.Wake" I have decided to give up and just fill my signature with a declaration of my failure.
