The James Taylor Quartet - The Theme From Starsky & Hutch
So this came on the radio the other night while I was cooking, and suddenly this urge came over me to to run around back alleys; jump over fences and through gardens; perform forward rolls over cars and other minor stunts (complete with mid-air freeze frame shots). Then it occurred to me that this would make the best alt.soundtrack to Assassin's Creed. I'm now compiling a playlist complete with the soundtracks from Driver, Bullitt, Peter Gunn, and similar. This is either going to be the most awesome thing evar, or crap. Will post my findings later. EDIT: Ah, now we're talking.
I'm back.

Re: Listening To Right Now?
Yay! Someone else is listening Ayreon!
Star One - Starchild Star One is a side-project of Arjen Anthony Lucassen, the creator and composer of Ayreon. And that sound of bass is just... Awesome Something else too. Ennio Morricone is probably my third of my top composers. Those westerns aren't so bad you know, and Mr. Morricone did a great job with the musics, creating some of the most unforgettable songs in motion picture history. I often listen Chi Mai from The Professional when ever I feel like doing nothing else, but to just think and visualize. It is a sad song and yet, so masterful. Long live Ennio Morricone We are what we choose to be, not what we want to be

Yo, I know there's some Taylor Swift fans here, I'm really happy for you and I'mma let you finish, but Zoe Muth is one of the best female singer-songwriters I've heard in years. In years!
Cannot recommend her album enough.

Re: Listening To Right Now?
Yeah I do see what you mean. I personally still struggle with last.fm use. The fact that it adds pretty much everything you listen to it's playlist is quite annoying. I haven't yet figured out a way to somehow tightening the boundaries of last.fm's access. I have quite a lot of somewhat unknown artists to me in my last.fm profile. I just like to add everything I like. It gives the variety, you don't always have to be listening the same kind of stuff all day long.
Today I have mainly listened The White stripes. The Elephant is a great album We are what we choose to be, not what we want to be |

I'll probably be able to answer this better when I start work, but do you mean the various media-player plugins, or the last.fm software itself? For the latter, there's a button at the bottom right hand corner that lets you quickly turn scrobbling off, if you don't want to the music you're listening to to be scrobbled to your profile. In windows media player I think you can disable the plugin for the same effect.

I listen to albums a lot, so I tend to manually scrobble my CDs using this site. All you have to do is look up the artist and album on MusicBrainz, and then you can just scrobble entire CDs in one go (or just individual tracks if you want, but that's time consuming).

Please do! And I'll happily return the favour if you can put up with my weird taste in progressive, electronic-country, disco-folk, celt-blues, soul-pop, trip-rap, reggae-hop, jazz 'n' bass, classical fusion rock 'n' roll.
Maybe I'll recommend you more of my obscure music and you can keep adding to that list.
I'm currently assimilating Zhinarkos' music library.

Re: Listening To Right Now?
Wow, we have actually a high music taste similarity Maddie. I added some of you're stuff.
The Waterboys for instance seemed really impressive. But my god you have stuff in your library ![]() And with my previous post I was referring to the thing you mentioned yourself in your post. Thanks for that. I do like that last.fm automatically adds stuff in there, but then again there are times when I am just experimenting music and when I listen to something I do not like, I do not wish for it to be there on my playlist. For those using pc as their music storage, player or both, I'd recommend using foobar2000 as a music player. Foobar has an easy system build for listening many songs. You can just add playlists and switch between them easily. It also has all the other equalizers and stuff that many other players offer. And it plays everything(at least everything I have tried). Just a suggestion though. I am listening Nightwish - Ghost Love score And yes, I have seen the epic box vid. Luckily I heard this song way before seeing it. I do not have to think about it while listening to this. We are what we choose to be, not what we want to be

Cannot recommend her album enough. The best female singer-songwriter for me is Laura Pausini!!! ![]() She have awesome songs in Spanish and Italian. She has a disc in English. Coldplay - Clocks
https://www.hdtracks.com/index.php?f...e=099923840824 There you go folks. An amazing soundtrack from the BBC documentary The Blue Planet. I have never had a stunning imagination then in the Killer Whales song. Elder Dragon breaks free, and flies into the sunshine, mountain falls and earth shatters. It was the most shivering moment of my history of visualizations from any soundtrack. I got in tears for that. Something so sacred and magical has nature given us that technology can't produce anything close to match It's an amazing soundtrack. And an amazing documentary We are what we choose to be, not what we want to be |

Currently listening through the Braid soundtrack on Spotify. I am astounded by the amount of vidya music that is to be found there. Mass Effect, Banjo & Kazooie, Alone in the dark, Gears of War, you name it. Pretty cool to have it playing calmly in the back of your head while you are doing the homework you were suposed to have finished until friday
