It is handy if your monitor can only do 60fps, if it goes above it is kind of a waste of GPU power and louder fans I also limit my games to 60fps with MSI. Also you can get huge drops from 80-60 when you may only get 60-55. Don't notice it as much.

My friend is bringing his steam download round, so fingers crossed I can hit buy on steam then let it start to download, copy the files over and fingers crossed steam will see them

So PC dont need to push so much fps. 60 is good. Imo framelimiter is better than Vertical sync coz Vsync besides limiting frames also lower overall performance. Frame limiter only limit frames.

What happened to the advanced graphics option that was shown on ign PC commentary a week ago? it seems like few options that on that video are missing, game runs really smooth, 580 gtx i7 2600k, steady 60 fps, just wondering what's up with the missing options?

This is down to steams servers, not Remedy. Steam is getting hit pretty hard right now.

Bought it the instant it became available.
Download started great, 4.0mb/s... going great. Then the download hit 60% and speed dropped to 800kb/s and hasn't changed since.

@my post never mind it seem's the only option was missing under advanced graphic options was FOV, for some reason FOV is under controller option

5 GB downloaded. COuld have been way more if I did not need to restart Steam a c ouple of times to find a good download server.

Yeah, we really can't affect download speeds or bandwidth But Valve seems to have more bandwidth than <insert your favorite hyperbole>

The randomness in DL may be because Valve fixed the depot sizes (it was still showing 14GB download for some folks even though it was ~8GB)

@BlackEyes what's missing?

Edit - nothing yeah we moved FOV there so that people who want to max graphics settings don't max that too by accident
