Statistical F.U.N!
So I was playing around with SQL queries trying to find statistics for random things on these forums and to be honest I've always LOVED statistical data. The forums contain a LOT of data and sometimes pulling values for these sorts of things can be pretty exciting, albeit a bit geeky.
Anyway you guys might find these interesting... if you don't, well... well, it's bad luck for you, isn't it? ISN'T IT? HUH!? YEAH!? YEAAHHHH!!!??! *cough* erm.. Statistics as at March 15, 2012 - 3:30PM GMT Most threads created by users all time

Re: Statistical F.U.N!
Damn you sidetwo, you thread hogger you. You create far too many threads!
How is a guy to keep up with that?!But heeeeeey, look at me. I'm on the top five list of most view profiles. Looks like people are curious about me (and rightfully so!). Fun stats Pete.

Re: Statistical F.U.N!
Nice! So the Forums are definitely active, good to see. Comparing them to the Forums I take care of, our Stats aren't far off, which is actually quite surprising to me! Seeing as how this is an official gaming forum and mine is quite unofficial. Have you guys put thought into an advertising budget for the Forums? Maybe advertise through Facebook; would possibly bring more members. More members = More feedback, more word-of-mouth, more members, and more money!
Then again, I do not know the budget of which RMD has for advertising, nor any idea of what the budget pertaining to RMD in general is; just an idea from a guy wanting to see these Forums blow up! |

Re: Statistical F.U.N!
Most attention in our community really does go to our social channels, which I've grown to over 300,000 members. These forums are really just a sort of insiders club, in a sense.
It's growing but it's at a nice rate that retains a lot of the culture quite well. I'm on the Twitters! @sidetwo |

Ahh, that's where everyone is! Good thinking. What other sites do you guys use besides Facebook for RMD?

Re: Statistical F.U.N!
Hmm, haven't made it to Google+, Myspace, or Tumblr? I mean I know they're no where near as popular as Facebook or Twitter, but they'll still generate activity, people, and provide a more diverse experience for people across all mainstream social channels!

Re: Statistical F.U.N!
We're in the process of re-structuring our community, which will start happening slowly with the end result being more community support on all our channels.
It's all about focusing energy to areas where we'll see the most gain, out of those sites that would most likely be Google+. We'll see about that. I'm on the Twitters! @sidetwo |

Re: Statistical F.U.N!
Good to hear, good to hear. It'll definitely take more man-power to do that though. Does Alan wake have a dedicate Street team that takes care of the Social pages? Or is it all ran through the Company itself? It'd definitely take quite a few people to run all of those pages and answer all the questions and comments.

Re: Statistical F.U.N!
Hmm, I highly doubt the feedback you guys give through those channels is hardly anywhere near as personal as what you give through these Forums though. I imagine quite a few people post questions, comments, and random useless things all throughout the day on it. I'd regularly link them to the Forums to get to know you guys, and see that RMD is definitely more personal and listens to feedback then other companies.
