  • PC multi sample antialising & very low graphics mode

    Hi,

I've been having problems with the multi-sample antialising error
and was wondering if setting it to very low graphics setting would
help clear up the problem and if so how do I set it?

Is there a command line option to set Very Low Graphics?
Is there a way to turn Antialising off completly?

    Pentium dual-core cpu @ 3.20GHz
Intel g45/g43 express chipset - integrated hd graphics card
    6 GB ram
    1 TB hard drive
windows 7 home premium 64 bit
    directx 11

    Thanks,

    GK

A lot of other users have experienced problems with Intel HD cards. Try updating to the latest drivers from the website, or trying a version from a different Win 7 type e.g. Home Basic or Home Premium.

You will have problems running it on that rig

      Get yourself a dedicated GPU

Because we do things that the Intel HD graphics doesn't handle very well. I'm not a graphics coder, so the specifics are kind of outside my field, but what other games do or don't do doesn't really enter into it. Other games aren't built on our technology, and the way we do things like lighting is different. (Also, seriously, AWAN is hardly the only game that Intel HD graphics is struggling with. I'm afraid that it's just not technology that's been designed with gaming in mind.)
