Like? I think some people forget AW had to go up against RDR which crushed everything that month.

Only bad thing MS did was can the PC version

I just don't know how us PC gamers can play it. Most of us don't have couches or HD TVs or controllers.

Why not release 2 versions, a Steamworks and a GFWL edition. That way your consumers can choose their favorite poison.

No, iam talking about the PC version not the 360 version. M$ is great for you guys but not for us. They can keep the rights to your version, but please leave the PC version alone.

The very fact that gamers no longer have backbones and let companies ride right over them ties into why I am disappointed in the future exclusive release schedule of the Xbox 360.

If this current generation of gamers demanded a better experience, we would see Microsoft invest in more IP instead of only sticking to the ones that sell (Halo-Fable-Forza). To be clear, I expect the Gears of War franchise to go fully multiplatform, starting with a PC release of Gears of War 3 (I already know that Gears of War 1 is on PC). Microsoft does not own the IP just like the situation we have here with Alan Wake.

Don't get me wrong, though. I fully support a PC release of Alan Wake and will be buying it day 1. But if Microsoft doesn't take their console seriously, why should I?

"Poison"? What has Steam done wrong?

Then again, I personally haven't had issues with GFWL (because I only own 2 games with it, Shadowrun and The Witcher, but The Witcher didn't even use it).

I seem to have missed that article, and that's good to hear. It still doesn't fix the situation of them canning games like Perfect Dark 2 and Kameo 2.

Read an interview with Rare saying PD 2 was only in the early stages but MS have shooters covered with Halo and Gears so it never got made.
No idea why Kameo 2 was canned because the first is a great game. Im not sure who has that call at MS?

Might not be possible if they use the same video format?

It was canned due of a tattoo on Kameo. Don't know what really happened there. And I really liked this game. It gave me the feeling of Beyond Good and Evil.
The game can take you in a journey of fantasy, cause your mind is the creator of fantasy !

Too bad some (luckily only few) people are pissing this off as a "cash-in".

Of course it's a cash-in! Everything you can buy is cash-in.

And Remedy is a game-company, cashing in is the purpose of every company, they need to make money to pay the talented people working there, and preferably lots of extra's to get motivated to make more wonderfull stuff, pay more talented people and then again make way cooler better wonderfull stuff.

If it's good enough people will support it, I for one am very happy to have spent my hard earned money on Alan Wake as it provided me with one hell of a great eintertainment and gaming experience, and if my pc will be capable of playing Alan Wake on highest details I'll be happy to spend my money on it again, some things just deserve my coin, other don't, it's my call, you can make your very own call on these matters ^^

Everything Remedy can do to help the possibility of them creating more cool stuff as they have done in the past is happily supported by me... To my personal view having a problem with great games available to a wider audience is silly, but perhaps it's just me

Great work Remedy, I sincerely hope more great succes comes to you guys, well deserved!

Darn. There goes my purchase, since I can't buy anything with Steamworks achievements.

This interview (with one spelling error to many) was published today: http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2011...ke-pc-preview/, and it says that Remedy hasn't decided yet. So you guys decided that just over a few hours?
What ADM meant was that the what we're releasing for the PC includes both of the DLC packs -- that is to say, they are among the things we're releasing. Whether they're going to be included with the game is yet undecided, but the point is, one way or the other, people will be able to play the DLC.
