if cranking the settings to max is giving u low fps, lower some settings....most of them theres barely any difference but a huge perf hit. SLI or not you only have 3GB VRAM which is bottlenecking you, if you go over your vram limit theres an issue (that may not be related to remedy) with a major hit to frame rate in dx12. idk if its been corrected yet...and the reason SLI doesnt work has nothing to do w/ remedy, its related to windows apps. many of these problems are entirely on msft's shoulders.

tbh the game should look & run fine on medium settings w/ upscaling & AA disabled, if not, check the vram usage, maybe thats still over 3gigs due to the 4xMSAA which does seem to be a major headache for pc users looking to optimize. hopefully the issue with hitting the VRAM cap will be fixed w/ a windows or driver update, if not, well the 1080 is coming in a couple weeks...

I wish the mis-information on the lack of multi-GPU support being a Microsoft problem would stop. In DX12 multi-GPU has to be implemented at the game engine level (in other words, it's hard), and Remedy has already stated that the work needed to implement it in QB was out-of-scope, possibly because of timelines, or lack of adequate funding from Microsoft to make it happen - whatever the reason, only Remedy knows.

The UWP has its problems that need to be addressed, but IMO it is important to keep straight what those problems are - multi-GPU is not one of them.
