      Thanks guys!

Coak: Definitely! What do you program in? Flash?

Oh and awesome news! Just got Death Rally in the mail today, a friend of mine sent it to me for free \o/ New original copy as well, still in it's plastic wrap

Going to give it a go tomorrow.. hopefully it'll run, otherwise I'll try dosbox.

This now means I've got every single game that Remedy has made haha.

I used to use Turbo Pascal and still use it for trying out stuff/making some basic prototypes, but usually I use Delphi 7 with the DelphiX libraries, haven't really found anything easier and more familiar..
I started making Snake a few weeks ago, *basically* it works, mostly I'm just struggling with graphical glitches/issues, haven't taken the time to try to fix it lately. I'd like to make some classic game clones before I start anything big: Snake, Tetris, Minesweeper (actually started making it a few months ago), Bomberman... Afterwards, if I'd put my mind to it, I could handle something like a video poker game (not that hard actually, gonna try it out) or maybe a simple sidescroller. Another thing I would like to do is participate in Indago, a Latvian independent game developer contest sometime in the future.

Actually I might try making a snake clone in flash. I think I have a good idea at how that can be done actually and I've already done the basics of it for the breakout game.

Woah! Why not combine the both and do snakeout!

                    lol snakeout.

How would that works btw? Control the snake and collect the food to grow, all the while bouncing that ball and hitting the blocks?

Well, to be honest, I didn't quite think that through. So, you could pretty much go any way you like

Sounds like an awfully lot to keep track of at the same time.
"So, where shouldn't I go so that I don't turn the power back on, accidentally?"

It'll be an interesting game, to say the least

That would make a tough multiplayer game, Player 1 controls the ball, Player 2 controls the snake, the goal could be for the snake to eat the moving ball, the ball to hit the snake, I don't know
