  • Finnish 'Sweet Home Alabama', with a Red chorus backup.

I couldn't have made this up if I tried.

Back in the days of the Soviet Union, the Red Army had an official choir made of their male soldiers. It still exists and they still perform as the Red Army Choir.

So, picture this: The Finnish rock band 'The Leningrad Cowboys' holding a concert in Russia when they pull a surprise and bring out the RAC for a little American 'Sweet Home Alabama' sung ensemble, and in English.
