Considering there is some connection between Alan Wake and TV series, I've seen LOST but not Twin Peaks. I think I should get it. Is it any good since I don't like criminal TV series( like 24)?
Don't mention Twin Peaks and 24 in the same sentence.

24 is a cliché-ridden, predictable, network-driven show whose filming schedule is dictated by Kiefer Sutherland's jail schedule. You can never go a whole season without hearing the words "total immunity" at least 10 times.

Like One Eyed Jack said, Twin Peaks is all about the mystery. And the people. Apart from the premise, very little crime-fighting is actually done. When it is, it's presented in either a thoroughly surreal or thoroughly creepy -- often both -- way. In many ways, the murder investigation is just a plot device through which the ways of life in a small, naive American village are explored. Regardless, it's certainly not a conventional crime drama.

If you decide to buy it, I recommend the Definitive Gold Edition box set, which has all the episodes (including the pilot - both versions) and the best transfer until they release a Blu-Ray version.

Death Proof and Hotel Rwanda. Death Proof was ****ing badass. Hotel Rwanda was good, too. I felt like the story it told was more important than the way they did it, though.

For ONCE I agree with Hamish.

I have watched every lost episode that has come out. I am desperately waiting the next episode.

Watched Lost, season 2 in three days. I guess it's safe to say, that I'm hooked, but I'm really glad I waited until the very end to start watching it. I just dion't like cliffhangers that much.

Just watched Dangerous Liaisons - an 80s film about 18th century lies and deceit. You can see how Cruel Intentions took a lot of inspiration from this movie and just modernised it. It also reminded me of Lords and Ladies, so I'm wondering if that is where the Remedy guys found the idea for that.

Watched Dances With Wolves yesterday. My only word would be WOW. Such authentic portrayal.. And the music can't get much better than that.

Speaking of western films, easily the best one is:
C'era una volta il West (Once Upon a Time in the West)

Last movie I saw was probally Dr. Strangelove, what a great film!

Just saw Alice in Wonderland (3D)

Was pretty good, though the ending fizzled a bit.

Also 3D is officially lame. Frame rate is not high enough to see swords and the bit where she's falling down the hole looks terrible.
