A truely horrible company HATES fixing the problems she CREATED(See Windows, XBOX Live, etc).

They MIGHT be the best in the XBOX LIve(software), but they're HORRIBLE in creating the consoles based on the technical build(hardware).

That's why I'm NOT trusting them.
RROD was all but gone around 3-4 years ago. They refunded EVERYONE who paid to have their console repaired costing them boat loads of money.
They never forced anyone to buy a new console, Even when charging for repairs they were still cheaper than Sony who charge nearly £140 to fix the PS3 as i found out when mine got the YLOD.

Disrespecting a customer would be to either flat out deny the problem [like Sony did with the PS2] or refuse to do anything about it.

Yes the 360 had its problems early on but did MS go cheap with it or the original XBox? Hell no that thing was a beast, so much so that MS never made any money off consoles sold and the RROD only came from MS rushing production to be the first one out.

You seem to have it in for MS and like to print misinformation on them.

      By: Ben Gilbert

It appears that while EA's making claims that its Frostbite 3 game engine (which powers next-gen's Battlefield 4) can't run on Nintendo's Wii U, the game publisher is also working on bringing "true Frostbite experiences to all major mobile platforms." The Frostbite website details the initiative as "Frostbite Go," and calls it "one of our most exciting current projects."

Without directly saying "Frostbite 3," the blurb details Frostbite Go as aimed at "empowering EA game developers" -- in so many words, it sounds like Frostbite Go isn't meant for indies as much as it's meant for EA studios used to working with Frostbite. Battlefield 4 will be the first game from EA to launch using the latest iteration of Frostbite, which isn't a huge surprise considering that BF4's developed by the same folks who develop the engine (EA DICE). It's expected to arrive this fall on both current and next-gen platforms.

Gee, this souds something like, you can make Wii U games with Frostbite engine. If you tweak it a little to make it work. We don't want to.

I....don't understand??? Does it really take so much resources to modify the engine. Is it too risky to make games for Nintendo Wii U. Maybe it is now in it's current status, but still....can you twist it in the wound some more please. Use the rusty one this time. I like it rusty.

Or if you wanna go really deep, does the engine actually work on the Wii U and they are just bullshitting for whatever reason.

Nintendo will survive no matter what, because it's game library is so different than it's competition. One of the reasons I bought mine. I guess it will continue the path of the second console, and it's just fine by me, but this looks from the outside like a schoolyard fight.

      "Gimme your lolly!"
      "No!"
      "GIMMEEE!!!"
      "NOOOO!!!!"
"You can't ever come to my Birthday party ever again!!"
      "Wh..wh.. why!!"
      "You're not my friend!!!"
"You tried to steal my LOOOLLLYYYY!!!!
      "WAaaaaah!"
      "Waaaaah!"

Can somebody tell me what's really going on??

EA don't want because they are in a sissy fit because Nintendo didn't want to use Origin for the U's online service.

The real reason, I think, is that Nintendo DOWNCLOCKED Wii U CPU and GPU, thus the engine couldn't run properly in Wii U. :/

Yep the only thing you could say is this guy is dissing a console that the company he works for have all but given up on. While Orth attacked XBox users.

At the moment the Wii U is looking like the Dreamcast only without the awesome games.

Yeah, not looking too good for the Wii U.

Also, as long as Microsoft and Sony keep stretching the shift from last gen to next gen, the Wii U isn't even the cheapest console on the market.
I'm predicting a looong stretch. So unless there's something uber cool coming for Wii U, people might still turn to last gen of Xbox and PS, instead of Wii U.

                  We'll see what happens.

I thought I'd do a little advertising here. Do any of you play Planetside 2? If so, you might have gone to YouTube for advice and run across a certain person who calls himself EnergyOne. Well, EnergyOne just so happens to be my brother. Besides posting short how-to vids, he also reviews games and does a little voice work here and there. Recently, he's been reviewing a new game called Evolve, which looks both challenging and fun. Anyway, check out his stuff and see what you think. Here's his channel: http://youtube.com/user/energyone
